I've looked at the sex offender registry where I live. I think that some of the people on it shouldn't be on it. But it shouldn't be abolished.

No, being a sex offender is like a disease, you can't stop it from taking over your brain, you can only try hard to prevent demonstrating it. In the same way I'd want to know if someone has a cold so I don't catch one I'd like to know if someone is a pedophile or a rapist so I prevent getting raped.
