I hope to reclaim some of the cognitive functions I have dimmed through continued abstinence. I only recently quit but I still have a year and a half of brain development left and my hope is that I can take advantage of this "prime brain plasticity" period and repair these negative effects. I'm confident that I will see some improvements but at the same time, I've probably lost something for life. I'm just gonna make sure I never smoke again and keep going forward in a positive way that will stimulate and get my brain going again after so many years of it being stuck in a haze.
