Really? Although I'm not a native German speaker I am fluent and it sounds amazing to me. Also how could he be good at manipulating crowds without being an excellent speaker?

The man pushed on emotions and the average man loves that, talking about unemployment and hungry kids evokes support. That's what makes socialism so dangerous, it promises that daddy govt will take care of you. It lifts your responsibility and people want that.
That is why he was not such an great rethoric.

Many people can manipulate crowds without being good speakers.
To a lesser extant Trump is able to do this. And nobody would accuse him of being one of the great speakers of modern history.
I'm not sure that being great at manipulating a crowd does automatically make one a great speaker.
