I don't necessarily think it's the church in America's fault, although they do import a lot of refugees working in tandem with the government.

I volunteered at my old church for years with my family but we just got burned out and no one else would ever help us. It was a fairly large church, at least 1000 people in it, but my family and one other were the only ones who ever did anything in the community. During those years, there was a shit ton of spic immigration though and the social cohesion of the entire town was falling apart so I don't really blame them or Christianity.
