Being a CT resident myself, whom was working in Newtown at the time, I find it all unnecessarily sketchy desu. Yea, alarms were going off like crazy, outward appearances were all as expected, but no one truly knows the facts because no evidence is available to the public and actual witnesses the crime scene aren't well known (or not at all).

I also have friends and family that live/work in Newtown (one especially in a gov. position to know people) and yet, after all this time, none of us even know one person that directly knew someone lost in the shooting or a witness (keep in mind all these people 100% believe it was legit).

A friend is a state cop whom was also there that day. His orders were basically public management, didn't see anything crime scene related.

To me, all this mystery is especially weird for an old school town like Newtown.

There are no fastfood restaurants allowed in Newtown for example, no huge retail chains like Walmart exist either. It is a haven for small businesses.

So the morning life there is very vibrant and social compared to neighboring towns with their drive-thrus. Same goes for the restaurant/bars.

It's also a small town, people know each other in Newtown way more so than many other towns in CT. For something this big to go down there and still have such a veil of mystery surrounding it raises red flags for me.

The closest I've come is someone claiming they knew someone who knew someone who had a family member who worked there at the time etc.
