There is probably a 99% chance this currency block is going to fail in the next financial crisis.

The fundamental problem with the euro is that there are almost no limits on debt creation for the member states. So everyone is incentivized to create as much debt as possible.

Don't. Southern Tyrol is lost and should become full on Macaroni, so that it goes down with Italy.

The Euro helps German industry while hurting the South. The Euro means the German currency is cheaper than it would otherwise be, making its exports more competitive. The Euro is more expensive than the currency of Southern economies would be, making their exports less competitive. As a result of the Euro, Germany gets stronger industry, and the South gets cheaper debt.Southern economies shouldn't be in the Euro. They should devalue and export to growth.
