What's up with AR custom shit? I've fired friends' low-batch receiver, match trigger, monolithic rail rifles before and usually the only thing I notice is trigger pull. Making the gun comfortable to hold with correct fore stock, rear stock choices, and grip choices is a good first investment. Shooting upgrades like floating rails, fancy sights, and crisp triggers aren't necessary unless you plan on being a 600 yard marksman when SHTF.

Yeah. As you can tell by the fact that my raifu is an SKS I'm a poorfag. So I can't afford a biometric safe. So if I had to defend myself, I have to grab my keys, run to my locker, unlock the locker. grab the rifle, grab a clip, load it up, and then I'm ready to rock. By then some iced out nigger would already be through my door and in my house, completely losing me the advantage of surprise.

Yes. After the first round of the mag got loaded into the gun/cleared again and put into the mag again a couple of times it could become unreliable or in the worst case go off if you chamber it again. Make sure to get rid of such rounds at your next range visit.

Or you could try to close the bolt via forward assist gently.

Thats the one good thing about the HK 416 afaik it got a firing pin retention spring that prevents this.

No. The likelihood of you getting robbed is low. The likelihood of you getting robbed while you are home is even lower. The likelihood that you are robbed when you are home and you'll be quicker on the draw (I assume you don't answer the door every single time gun drawn) is abysmally lower.
