War is not a great adventure. Assuming WW3 (and by that I mean a proper WW3; not some shitskin-stomping conflict the way we're doing in Iraq and such) doesn't immediately go nuclear, and you manage to join the infantry and get deployed... you're fucked.

You will get assraped by bullets, shells. Your commander will get shot in the head by some Russian with a scoped rifle from a kilometer away while your company advances on an urban center.

Your best buddy will get mowed down by a machine gun, around your comrades and friends, and die in a few seconds to a few minutes in a state of shock.

War is not a goddamn game, you 13-year-old Battlefield-fellating tard. You will die and you will die once. There is no respawning after your legs get blown off by a landmine or after your chest gets ventilated by six 5.45x39mm rounds.

Also, everybody will fucking die if WW3 goes on for more than a few months, because at that point I guarantee shit goes nuclear.

Probably, but it won't be like what's come before. I imagine it as a kind of mass confusion, no good or bad, no us no them, just fragmentation and breakdown. Careful what you wish for.

I guarantee you; talk to any military veteran who has been in combat, and they won't treat it like it was an adventure or a game. Combat is fucking horrific. It's nasty. You get one chance and if you fuck up once you're dead. The enemy is always playing to win.

As I said, this isn't Battlefield. You can't reload from the last save if you get shot. All you'll get is a few minutes of helplessness as you bleed out and die on the ground; assuming you don't get captured and sent to some hellhole prison camp.
