I work with a mormon and have known him for years. He is crazy and so are your beliefs. Joseph Smith was a con man. You will not inherit a planet as a god when you die, god does not live on planet whatever (i can't remember the name but don't act like you don't know.) and black people aren't the spawn of Cain.

There's already a thread about this but I'll just say it again. Mormonism has great ideals but the Book of Mormon isn't based in any reality and if you attempt to just see it all as metaphors then the Joseph Smith story becomes flawed. The only way to be a happy Mormon is to just enjoy the benefits of it and try to ignore the flaws.
