Had a discussion with a commie last night and was saying that automations will take over and people will have to be paid through "basic income".

So in other words the communist thinks

It's so blatantly obvious that such a thing doesn't look at other factors within a society. It's a long term economic solution that will meet its end game but delapitate on its own shortly after. Why?

Well let's use our trusty human sciences shall we!?

You would have to replace the current monetary system because at our current state; the theoretical income bell curve is just a slope. We have no middle class and thus the fiat currency would have to be replaced and backed by something (in Canada's Case, maybe diamonds and oil?) which will attempt to reconstruct the value of a working citizen. But then what? The country will have to export oil and diamonds in order to obtain imports coming into the country. Which kind of defeats the purpose of communism seeing as it depends on forming an isolated community able to sustain itself yet we are exporting precisely what's backing up our currency... So the fiat currency would be just that, another form of paper money that is just another form of a central bank...

Social Cleavages are abundant in communist nations. The reason why is because for a communist nation to be self sufficient it needs lots of lots of land. Land for agriculture; land for residents; land for municipalities that provide services; the further communities diffuse from the state's hearth the more indifferent and apathetic they become to each other. FFS, just look at China and Tibet! People won't just magically love you because you are a commie but I wouldn't worry, the government will just purge those assholes for you.

Well considering that such a state needs to back its currency up; it will need to create full employment in areas that will have the resources needed to back up the currency. But what of the machines?! Well, your country isn't ready yet! Harvest them minerals so that you can afford it! But wait? First you need to shove all these people in one community and have the state concentrate people in these areas.

Now you're draining municipalities of their workers by allocating them somewhere else. So now we look at this, let's consider-

Communism is based on fanaticism, it takes a special breed of person to be staunchly committed in an idea like communism. There are also some people that are against the idea, and why is that? Well it's obvious! The whole thing is based on both controlling people economically and sociologically.

CONTROL! CONTROL OVER PEOPLE! If a person wanted to be a doctor and spend 10 years of their life studying to become a doctor then they want that time to pay off by being able to afford not just their security but the capability of investing into themselves and climb further. It isn't "human nature" that makes the doctor want to be like this; it's the TIME the doctor sacrificed to get there! And not every doctor succeeds in their path, they fall on there face a lot, med school is hard and failure will be inevitable so you're looking at people spending even more than 10 years to get in a position like that. Do I agree with the doctor? No. But I do know that the doctor vehemently believes this to be so; so you're looking at resistance to the whole communist theory.

Now that we talked about the philosophy we can tackle the politics of such an ideology. Well considering that it is a state that emphasizes on control rather than collective reaction, you will see "forced" policies to help solve some of the issues I had brought up in my past two posts. And when people find it unfair like that doctor I spoke of, then they will have to "tough" it out and deal with it. So what is the reciprocation to this? Well the Doctor leaves the country, commits suicide or even homicide because time is irreplacable and the Commie Party just liquidated that doctor's time. Fanatics will likely mob up and employ marshall law as people don't want a system like this and will likely fight to keep it away. Then eradication either through murder or confinement becomes a must and we get populated prisons. Meanwhile, the communist party is so caught up with the short term policies that it has completely forgotten it's long term policies of getting minerals and chaos is highly likely to ensue. Essentially, ITS A SUPER SLAVE STATE!
