I didn't blame democrats for healthcare loss, you illiterate retard. They excluded republicans in the creation of ObamaCare, and are now complaining about exclusion and touting bipartisanship.

Sad that they couldn't figure out a way to have the taxpayer subsidize massive price gouging by the pharma and healthcare crime syndicates. Maybe after Obamacare fails in a couple more nearly bankrupt states they will be able to figure out some way to continue the transfer of all national wealth to corrupt monopolies.

Controlled burn perhaps....a lot of republicans are going to get the boot in the midterms, so where bi-partisanship can exist then there another reason to show the democrats can mend their mistakes.

It's not that myopic....big pharma owns our congress.

Single payer as illogical as it seems to right wingers, is the only way to have Americans get what their paying for through taxes.

no it won't. They'll never vote Democrat.

Full repeal with 2 year delay will force Democrats to run on their plans for healthcare reform which will be...

- reversing the repeal of Obamacare, forces them to defend it
- offering the replacement... which makes them abandon Obamacare.

GOP wins with full repeal that forces Democrats to address Obamacare in 2018 midterms.

The full repeal with 2 year delay is probably more unpopular with Jared Kushner and people within Trump's White House. It was his inner circle that pushed for a full replacement.

The full repeal has to happen or GOP will lose face and give Democrats too much leverage and too much of an opportunity going forward.

If the GOP does nothing, it's retarded.

Full repeal with 2 year delay is only option.

This is a ploy by the establishment GOP. The republicans have been elected since 2010 to repeal Obamacare, yet they refuse despite 1st getting both the House and Senate and now the presidency. They are fucking up Trumps policies and the Republican Party platform which they agreed to and the citizens of the USA voted for on November 8th 2016. To throw the 2018 elections and give the House and Senate back to the Democrats. They expect the republican base to be completely disenchanted with the party and either stay home or cast a revenge vote against the incumbent republican. And mark my words and screenshot this, the Republicans will blame Donald Trump for their loss, they'll blame his rhetoric, stance on immigration anything but their total lack of action, so that they can get a democrat president in 2020 thats part of establishment

I'm not autistic, but you might be retarded. A single payer healthcare system would eliminate the need for any individual or employer to have to pay for health insurance again. If you're making $50k/year and have a family, somebody is paying the $17k+ to cover them right now. That's at least 30% of your total compensation that goes just to health insurance premiums. If your employer is paying for it, with a single payer system (which would inherently be more efficient and thus reduce costs in healthcare) they would no longer need to pay that and the added tax levied on them would be much less than that, meaning you would most likely see wages go up for the middle class.

I have a theory that Obamacare was intended to blow up the healthcare market. It hamstrung the very idea of for-profit healthcare with a Trojan Horse.

>everyone is now forced to be your customer

Sounds nice on paper, right? Until all the cancer patients and people with terminal or chronic conditions signed up, and young, healthy people realized the fine was so paltry that it was cheaper not to get it at all. Now the insurance industry realizes they signed a deal with the devil, while Republicans took the bait hook, line, and sinker and spent the last eight years calling it LITERALLY THE END OF 'MURRICA AS WE KNOW IT.

Problem is, it's had eight years to fester, and now a full repeal is all but impossible. The insurance industry is going bankrupt, but those with preexisting conditions love it and the optics of ripping their insurance away from them is political suicide. Notice how Republicans aren't even using the "muh freedumbs" or "muh free margets" anymore? They're instead either promising to replace it with something else, or just flat out refusing to talk about it altogether.

But it WILL collapse eventually. That was the point. Obamacare was a timebomb meant to kill private insurance to pave the way for single payer.

And Republicans played right into their hands.

The Dems invited Republicans to contribute and discuss and debate the bill numerous times and it was a long process. Shit, they even used a plan that was from a Republican think tank in order to be bipartisan.

Meanwhile the Republicans wrote the current bill entirely in secret and had no debates over it, to a point even 99% of their own members didn't really know what they were voting when it was rushed through in Congress. And the Senate version is just meaner version of that, only modified to appease their own members. And again, it's completely rushed with no attempt to work together with the other side. All the while blaming Dems for obstructing, despite having a majority and the Republicans themselves failing to get their own people to vote for it.

Not really. McConnell literally tried to pass this in secret with no public hearings or debates and it still went down in flames. He now is openly admitting they can't agree on a replacement, and has to resort to a two year delayed repeal.

There aren't too many good ways to spin that.

For fucks sake. Why not have a floor vote to show who the republicucks are. Primary them away, or threaten to. Thats how you could atleast salvage keeping your base energized. Theres even odds the ones who want to vote no would vote yes out of terror of having a target from the right on their backs.

ACA was the GOP's plan, concocted in spirit by Fmr Governor Romney and shaped by the GOP members in the Senate, House, and committees. They can't repeal it because it's their bill.

Obama wasn't some socialist hippy. He was a centrist moderate who killed more terrorists with drones, enabled a invasive spying program, and passed a healthcare bill that is essentially Republican (i.e. no single-payer plan). The GOP shot themselves in the foot by spending the last four years hating Obama, when he did most of the shit they wanted him to.

Trump don't care. He's looking for a used up Putin slut. Yummy.
>>
>>134110310
>Trump's only recourse is to force a shutdown and starve people out... get people angry.

Worked wonders for Chris Christie, and the Republicans last time and again in the 90's.

Oh wait...

Except that the ACA is literally the conservative plan for health care. See Romneycare.

Reminder that Obamacare is only "failing" in a handful of red states where it's being actively sabotaged by the state government. But hey, if the Republicans think the way to win is to kill off their own voters then more power to 'em, I say.
>>
>>134128097
>ACA is literally the conservative plan
please look up the definitions for 'literally' and 'conservative'

>See Romneycare
Romney =/= conservative

Its actually failing in states that accepted the medicaid expansion, the states that did not accept it are doing far better. Why? Because states are finding themselves on the hook for more of the expanded subsidy every passing year.

It is like a drug dealer (feds) giving you the first hit for free, then giving you your first baggie for a third of the cost, the next is half off, and finally you're addicted and paying the full price.
>>
>>134067671
except that is patently false. there were hundreds of hearings on obamacare. not one for this abomination of a bill

I think they're worried something, spending so much cash today.

You've either been lied to or are lying yourself, probably the former. Go dig up some primary sources away from the media's influence and report back.
>>
>>134064468
It was obvious that they wouldn't repeal. If they remove Obama Care, there will be no GOP in 2020. Trump will loose outright if OC fails. It was just a show.
>>
republicans are a joke , they cried for so many years , " MUH OBAMACARE MUH THIS MUH THAT " fucking faggots , i hope they loose next time .
>>
>>134128468
I've worked for the marketplace in the past and this is true. The states that are against obamacare are always the states whose governor refuses to use medicaid grant money for medicaid or expand access to healthcare. They sabotaged the fuck out of it and can't even come up with a proper replacement
>>134129360
He's just throwing numbers around with no factual source man, it's what people do
>>
>>134067671
If we don't destroy the middle class how can the Democrats survive?
>>
>>134129108
>there were hundreds of hearings on obamacare
lol Democratic staff for the House oversight committee locked their GOP counterparts out of the committee's hearing room.

When Obama promised televised negotiations for the health care law, but that didn’t happen. Instead, his administration reached agreements behind closed doors with the drug industry and hospitals. In Congress, some of the committee bill writing sessions were open, but the most substantial negotiations took place privately, before bills came to committee or the House or Senate floor.

>not one for this abomination of a bill
Obamacare and what the republicans are pushing through reconciliation are two different animals
>>
>>134129813
Yea, one insures millions and the other takes it away for tax breaks for the wealthy, I get it joe dirt
>>
Democracy doesn't work, clearly. We need an autocracy. Trump just needs to bite the bullet, declare martial law, have all of his enemies arrested. Only then can we MAGA.
>>
>>134129937
>Yea, one insures millions and the other takes it away for tax breaks for the wealthy,

wow, because the same can be said about the healthcare system before Obamacare, which ripped millions away from their insurance plans and gave tax exemptions to big corporations.
>>
>>134130650
and you think that was cool? that it worked out totally fine and millions of uninsured people didn't die every year from preventable illness? what about promoting the general welfare?

you aren't a patriot if you want fellow countrymen to die because they can't afford insurance

>inb4 muh tax dollars!
>everyone pays taxes you dope, we all do, the mandatory insurance thing was to make sure everyone paid their due and you still complained

>But so far, Republican lawmakers have had just nine days of public activity on the repeal bill, compared with 43 for the Affordable Care Act during the same six-month period.
>Republican lawmakers have spent just two days debating policies related to their bill on the House floor. The Senate, so far, has spent none, and is planning to vote on the bill as soon as the leaders have enough votes to pass it. The Affordable Care Act was debated on the House and Senate floors for 31 days before the bill passed.

>>
>>134131474

And I didn't have health insurance before Obamacare. Me and about 20 million other people. Maybe if Republicans were willing to help fix Obamacare instead of throwing me and everyone else off of insurance we could both be happy?
>>

>>
It's cheaper for me to not have insurance and pay the fine

thanks niggers
>>
>>134131905
>health insurance killing

you're really gonna try and say that more americans aren't insured? really? why should I give a fuck about insurance companies and businesses not making a killing off of the suffering of others? that's the opposite of what a decent human being wants

but we live in a monetary society and ethics don't matter to anyone, so you see a corporation losing money as the victim
>>
>>134124775

There's nothing revisionist about it, Republicans are that dumb. They tied to Obama because they figured it would be unpopular and surprise, when you poll people on specific aspects of the ACA they by a large number support it but the second you call it Obamacare suddenly, ooo bad because I don't like Obama and can't accept him doing anything positive.
>>
>>134130914
>you aren't a patriot if you want fellow countrymen to die because they can't afford insurance
People don't deserve things they can't afford.
>>
>>134130914
>promoting the general welfare
>promoting
not PROVIDING, learn the difference

>millions of uninsured people... died every year from preventable illness
millions died..., lol thats simply a lie

>everyone pays taxes you dope
yep, and then a considerable amount of people receive a check paying out more than they paid (i.e. they paid NOTHING but got something)

>the mandatory insurance thing was to make sure everyone paid their due
Unless you were a major corporation that got an exemption, and where in the constitution does it say insurance is mandatory and everyone must pay their due?
>>
>>134131474
>>134132169
tell that to this guy, he seems to have an odd sense of entitlement

also this is a democracy, maybe learn something about what that means instead of implementing autocratic laws
>>
People must realise that MAGA is bigger than Trump and the Republicans.

If they are not willing to carry it out then we must find other avenues.

Destroy the Democrat Party and shortly after that, destroy the Republican establishment too.

>insurance companies weren't a thing in 1776
neither was taxing our income, thats why it required an AMENDMENT, not some half-baked Supreme Court excuse

>taking insurance away from people
But Obamacare TOOK AWAY insurance for people, plenty of people had their plans cancelled and lost the coverage but are not covered by the Obamacare subsidy and therefor must pay more for insurance or pay the "fine" to go without. What about them? How did Obamacare promote their general welfare? It didn't.
