I'm an Irish-American looking to move to Ireland in a couple years. I'm sick of America.

I heard that Irish diaspora that return to Ireland are pointed out and made fun of. Can any of you micks confirm this statement? Or perhaps provide experiences you've had with American tourists?

Used to be that Ireland was a total shit hole and we probably deserved the title. Now the Republic is arguably the best part out of England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland and it's a mix of bants and butthurt.

To answer your question OP, it is mostly bantz. I dislike the prevalence and misinterpretation of the word "white." White is a spectrum. European is the correct term.

It is comparable to when retards on pol say "hurr durr Italians aren't white and Greeks aren't white." I'm sure there are actually autists on this board that truly believe in this theory but for the most part it is memes. A true crime is to categorize all Europeans as one. Europe is divided into regions for a reason...different ethnicities that correspond with different cultures that have developed over time.
