When I was young I used to hide under my blankets at night and stick one hand out. Even though I could not see anything at all, the fact that I could feel my hand and it was separated from the rest of my body by my blanket used to fascinate me. I would do this multiple times a night.

I've been having a lot of nightmares of late.

They all have a dark backdrop and a "loud noise" that either wakes me up or suddenly all "noise" within the dream stops and everyone looks at me.

All the time. I'm afraid of heights IRL, I've always asumed it's because of that even If I am not afraid in my lucid dreams.
