So straight repeal?
>>
>>134029400
That would pass. I'm excited to see it happen.
>>
>>134029400
So now America has no healthcare law. This should be good
>>
>>134029657
technically yes, but he doesn't have the votes for it
what he's doing is forcing a vote so everyone goes on record as aye or nay on repeal
this is either punishing the Republican senators for not supporting him, or shoring up Republican senators among their base
I can't decide which yet

>>134030070
I was pointing out the flaw with an example fuckhead, just because something has worked in the past doesn't mean going back to it now is a great idea. If you'd have given reasons why it worked or reasons why this is better I wouldn't have needed to, but you didn't, you used a shitty piece of logic with no backup. Go fuck yourself.
Also learn the fallacy fallacy faggot.

A full repeal is a 60 vote threshold.

Before ObamaCare, 85% of people had insurance and 95% of those 85% were happy with their coverage. Google it. The leftist media can run all the fake polls and fake news they want but 2017 isn't 2008 and no one believes them anymore. Between the deportations and the voter fraud commission finding the millions of illegal votes, libshits aren't going to win anything in 2018 and 2020.

you dumb fucks missing the 2 year delay part, if they pass this bill it would take 2 years to wind down obamacare.

Wat? The premiums under Bush were rising faster than at any other point in modern history and that includes post-Obamacare. Just because you were in high school when Bush was president doesn't mean there was nothing wrong with it before. The only reason Ocare passed is because the previous system was such a pile of shit in the first place.

Don't fucking tell me that obamacare was good unless you are a poor nigger that got healthcare for free regardless of the law.

Feudalism was good when resources were scare and we were living in a post-Apocalyptic world that was post-Roman Europe. There's too much wealth now for that to be viable.

the current uninsured rate is 7% (even with Florida and Texas not joining Ocare), premium rises have slowed and people can't be thrown off coverage for BS reasons.

Again, what a disaster Obamacare has been!
>>
>>134030223
The wheel has worked in the past, should we abandon that? My point holds true faggot. Here's a quick follow-up question to show your faggot logic.

When was the Feudalism abandoned in the United States? Again, you're comparing apples and oranges. Let me ruin the answer for you, it was never implemented.
>muh example
Your example is bullshit, and not anywhere relative to American culture, history, or economics. This doesn't even fall under fallacy fallacy, because your idiot point is that an entire system of society didn't work out elsewhere in the world so we should all get taxed for other people's health.

If I can't control what they eat, what they drink, what substances they are around, and who they sleep with -- I shouldn't be required to pay for their health. A government health plan has nothing to do with a feudal system of government, like a drawing pencil has nothing to do with a wheel. A good tip for life, if you have to make hypothetical comparisons, like you did, to prove a point -- you have none.

>>134030513
Exactly the point of this faggot. He's trying to switch topics to something completely unrelated to the issue at hand. Your claim is moot the second you used an apples to oranges comparison.

>>134031098
What the fuck are you on?
It was an example of because something worked in the past it doesn't mean it will work perfectly now, I spelled this out for you yet you're still incapable of understanding.
You're original post said:
>X worked for Y years, therefore it'll work again.
You didn't give examples of how it worked and how it will still worked, your only argument was that it worked for a number of years.
Fudalism function for a number of years, so by the logic of your original post, you want it back.
Fuck off with your strawmen.

>>134031257
Read what I'm saying, you Southern nigger.
I already spelled it out here:
>>134030223
But you're too retarded to understand what

Thank you. We need to cut loose the dead weight.
>>
>>134031257
>I'm sorry, does your employer not offer health benefits that meet your needs?

at no point did I mention employer benefits. Premiums tripled from 99-10 before Obamacare passed. Repealing Obamacare would be a straight disaster for anyone, including people who get their coverage through their employers.
>>

>>134031095
>repeats media talking points
I'm betting you're a hipster. Hard for premiums to rise when there's no insurance carrier in a market. Total insured is a bogus metric anyways. Some people may not need insurance, but hey -- we forced them by threat of weaponized taxation.
>>134031453
I never once said I wanted Feudalism back. We were talking forced health care and you were talking now replaced system of governments. I pointed out the wheel worked fine in the past as an example that just bc something worked doesn't mean it needs replaced, about the opposite of what you're saying. Often times, people who are believers of propaganda have a mental click when they try to think through it.
>faggot wants an example as to why AHCA is worse.
Medical services are not a constitutionally guaranteed right. Therefore, the AHCA is not within the realms of the government authority to tax -- unless we're talking interstate commerce relationships between insured and insurors. I believe my constitutional argument may be lost to your flag, but its all we need. Its a shame you're too faggot to think straight. I don't have to prove to you shit until you fly an American flag.

If both what you and the anon you replied to said is true than premiums tripled from $85 to $250 before AHCA and then more than doubled from $250 to $600. This means that premiums increased over twice as much post AHCA compared to pre AHCA.

Because trying to fix the unfixable Obamacare only prolongs the collapse. Without a full and total repeal of Obamacare the Dems will blame Republicans and Trump for the continued collapse and label OBAMACARE->TRUMPCARE.

Get rid of Obamacare like the Republicans promised from 2009-2016 and start over.

>>134030553
Bullshit!

In 2003 I was paying $85 a month for health insurance which represented half the premium. My employer paid the other half. I had a $500 deductible
The old system was better, it encouraged employees to do a good job and offered a way for employers to offer a benefit for a job well done and a way to retain good workers. The health insurance costs were rising slowly, but could have been easily fixed by deregulation.
>>
>>134029400

* During the months and years just prior to the March 23, 2010 passage of the ACA, claims about the “skyrocketing costs” of American healthcare were ubiquitous in the media.

* But in fact, from a historical perspective, healthcare spending in the U.S. was increasing more slowly than it had at any time in half a century.

* During the years 2000 through 2010—the decade just prior to the beginning of the ACA's implementation—Americans' total expenditures on physicians and related clinical services grew at the following rates: 7.0% in 2000; 8.6% in 2001; 8.0% in 2002; 8.0% in 2003; 6.9% in 2004; 6.0% in 2005; 5.2% in 2006; 5.2% in 2007; 5.4% in 2008; 3.3% in 2009; and 2.5% in 2010.

* By way of comparison, total healthcare spending in the U.S. grew by 10.3% in the year 1970, and by 13% in 1980.

* Critics of health insurance companies have routinely accused these firms of greed and price-gouging:

* In a July 2009 press conference, President Barack Obama said: "There have been reports just over the last couple of days of insurance companies making record profits, right now. At a time when everybody's getting hammered, they're making record profits, and premiums are going up."

* A few days later, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi accused insuerers of being "immoral," and called them "the villains" in the healthcare reform battle.

* In reality, each dollar of revenue that health insurance companies take in, includes just 2.2 cents of profit. [TAO: Loc. 2079-80]

* Notwithstanding the fact that pre-Obamacare medical expenditures nationwide were rising more slowly than in earlier times, the costs of healthcare obviously had risen sharply since decades past—both in real terms and as a share of America's Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

* In 1958, per capita healthcare expenditures in the U.S. was $134—or $1,083 in inflation-adjusted 2012 dollars.

* By 2012, per capita health spending had risen to $8,953 (in 2012 dollars).
>>
>>134029913
>>134034277
A bit more:

* According to the New England Journal of Medicine: “Between 1950 and 2011, real GDP per capita grew at an average of 2.0% per year, while real national health care expenditures per capita grew at 4.4% per year. The gap between the two rates of growth—2.4% per year—resulted in the share of the GDP related to health care spending increasing from 4.4% in 1950 to 17.9% in 2011.”

It's almost like, Democrats are full of shit, again, as always.

* Between 1975 and 2010, the share of healthcare costs that Americans paid for on their own, rather than through insurance or with the help of government programs, steadily declined. [DOHL: Loc. 1221-22; TAO: Loc. 1557-60]

* By 2011, Americans were paying only 11 cents of every healthcare dollar directly-out-of-pocket.

* When people do not pay directly for their own healthcare, they are psychologically and materially insulated from the true cost of that care. And whenever people are insulated from the true cost of any product or service, they tend to consume more of it, thereby causing total expenditures (on the product or service) to skyrocket. [TTM: pp. 74, 78-79, 140]

* Duke University scholar and Forbes magazine contributor Chris Conover posits the following mental experiment: “If I promised to pay 89 percent of the cost of your groceries, would what you buy be different? Most students I ask freely concede that they would buy things they would not otherwise buy and might well pay higher prices even for things they would have bought anyway.”

* Pacific Research Institute president Sally Pipes also addresses this phenomenon: "If health care were free and available with no regard to cost, people could go to the doctor as often as they pleased.... Free restaurants would be nice, too. Why would anyone go to the trouble of dragging home groceries and wasting time cooking? Why would anyone not go for the best? The only thing is, someone would have to pay. Consumption would rise, and so would [food] costs. It’s the basics of economics. There has to be some mechanism for matching limited supply with potentially unlimited demand." [TTM: pp. 123-124]

Republicans run on replacement.

Republicans wanted to say fuck you to the elitist class of society by voting for an elitest smooth talking New Yorker and the elitest scumbags who all agreed with Bush that Iraq had WMDs, and insist upon tax breaks for the rich, don't want to see anyone from Goldman Sachs or these other shithead bankers cutting deals at the expense of the middle class serving time in jail for destroying people's livelihoods, these same voters don't wanna see Citizens United over turned becuase they like their corporate lobbyists to be able to pay an unlimited amount of money to political candidates in direct opposition to the limits imposed on ordinary middle class, and their hero in the White House wants more tax breaks for the richest people in this country, a class he himself is a member of.

The more you continue to use your opinion as a weapon in a never ending game of "us vs the rest of the world" the more you're playing right into your enemies' hands.

And now that it comes to light that any previous notion of Russia being fake news, of all these repeated members and ex-members of Trump's cabinet claiming they didn't contact any Russians whatsoever repeatedly peddling back their claims on a monthly basis, why this loyalty?

How can you not see or feel the giant red white and blue dildo being slammed up your ass everyday, and you excitedly respond
>Feels good to be winning!

You voted for Trump to say fuck you to the corporate elitests. Repealing and Replacing healthcare only benefits the health insurance industry, and indeed it's the health insurance industry that lines Republicans' pockets (and yes, Democrats' pockets are lined with their own lobbyists).

Cutting the corporate tax rate only benefits corporations.

Stop trying to fight everyone and fucking learn to get along with people of different races, sexes, political ideologies, or anything else that the elitests use to divide us. We are only strong when we the people act as one.

This is probably the Reince Priebus bill... Plan Z.

Full Repeal with 2 year delay... best possible bill for 2018 midterms.

- Democrats forced to run on defending Obamacare
- Obamacare languishes, dies a slow death.
- Most people lose their Obamacare healthcare before it even ends.
- options to extend Obamacare months at a time

Democrat response...
- blame GOP for losing Obamacare and run on extending it?
- run on single payer?
- totally dump on Obamacare but then have GOP challenger bring out... "Why didn't you vote for repeal."

It's the best political option for the Republicans.

cease this niggerish rationalizing, this is a last ditch effort to cover their asses from a complete loss
>>
>>134041819
Parts of each are true.

The GOP represent some of the poorest states in the union who will see backlash comparable to 2010 when coverage losses and premiums spike via the bill's insurance deregulation/medicaid cuts. This Repeal-Only Bill:
#1 Doesn't fit Budget Reconciliation: It needs the full 60 votes to pass filibuster unlike the BCRA
#2 Allows the GOP to show the base the dead corpse of repeal and say "Hey we tried *Shrug*" without actually gambling on it going to Trump's desk.

So they don't face extraordinary political fallout which would ensue on the majority party during midterms.
It also gives them an issue to keep litigating among the more diehard activists into future election cycles. It then puts the ball back in the Democrats' wheelhouse to band-aid the outstanding problems with the ACA under the guise of "Bi-partisanship" without having only their fingers on the inevitable fixes.

You don't seem to understand what Obamacare was meant to do.

Back then prices were just starting to balloon, due to the fact that people were using hospitals as primary care providers, and other factors but that was the main cause of it. It created a giant feedback loop that was making health insurance and healthcare costs go through the roof.

Since I didn't have coverage then I had to go to the hospital for things like infections, for example. In 3 visits I racked up $10,000 of bills just for minor things, 1 for infection, 1 for a bad migraine, 1 for an animal bite.

>>
>>134043692
you can't afford 4,300 a year? Are you sure you don't qualify for a subsidy or even Medicaid?

btw, low premiums, low deductibles, young buyer=you had shit coverage. Sorry dude, that shit was not going to cover you in a pinch. insurers were stealing young people's money left and right back then, most young people only ever used it for checkups and medication for when they got infections or whatever minor shit. Never need the insurance but still have to pay it, complete shit
>>
>>134043894

>In 3 visits I racked up $10,000 of bills just for minor things, 1 for infection, 1 for a bad migraine, 1 for an animal bite

What's changed? Even with the new plans, your deductible limit would barely even be breached in those cases, and now you'd have to pay even more due to the increased monthly costs.

Americans, how does it feel having to pay for the world-class healthcare of illegal immigrants and criminal niggers?

You pay sky-high health insurance premiums so they can get their medication, their medical procedures and their doctors visits.

I find it really funny. You can't really win. Australia can have universal healthcare because we are mostly homogeneous, but I honestly can't imagine how it would feel working hard every day and paying ever increasing premiums just so Juan, Lopes, DeMarcus and Shaniqua can get their condishunz treated despite never paying into the system.

Should have just waited it out till after 2018 so the left couldn't run on this. If the right had gained just one more state for control, constitutional amendments could finally be passed again. Repeal and replace with something much better, not touching social security or medicaid.

That's what he ran on and that's what got him a lot of votes.

If he started with healthcare and got Republicans to go along with a left leaning infrastructure plan, how would Democrats be opposing him now like they are? Then he could say he got it done and the Republicans would have some credibility.

He gave them ammo, and he still continues to do so. He doesn't talk about his plans in his tweets, he only shit posts. The incompetence is absolutely astounding.

Well here is the problem. We have a fuckload of greedy selfish little boomer faggots who don't wanna help there own people. Second reason is niggers and other non-whites ruin the entire system for everyone, and the final reason is way to many people see WHITES as individuals as apposed to a group. Yeah but there isn't a choice

There isn't a state-run hospital choice that you can go to if you don't have money

If there WAS one, then hospitals would have to lower their prices or be priced out of business

At least you will have a choice, go to a free hospital where the care isn't the best or go to an expensive hospital (if you can afford it) and get the best care possible
