If you think about it, letting all women into the workforce was probably disastrous for the economy. Imagine how many millions (billions?) of dollars companies waste on paying and accommodating women. Not only that, but most every bad thing about modern business culture - the "teambuilding seminars", the open offices, the diversity outreach, the HR focus - is almost entirely due to women and accommodating their more social, groupthink natures. I can't even imagine how many pointless jobs were created just to find places for women to work.
So what do you think? Was it really a benefit for them all to work?

Easiest way to lower wages for the working class
>double the workforce
>half the wages

Yes, this is why wage increases have been basically stagnate for 40 years.
This and mass immigration.
>>134019469
Yes.

No and it was also a masterful con job to cover up for the fact that one income couldn't support the average family either(which is even further exacerbated by adding women to the workforce and holding down wages even more). Both parents working exponentially increases the divorce rate, stress, and essentially letting school, peers, and media co-raise your kids. It was absolutely disasterous.

Precisely this. It's convenient that people somehow think (((feminists))) were wholly responsible for women having to work. Also, at least in the US, after WWII breadwinners either died or were coming back addicted to heroin + PTSD...or were tired. Their wives were already working while the men were gone, and many of them were working the jobs their husbands had, so they just kept going. Then came the taxes. Then the advantages of actually being married dissolved. That we continue to blame this on feminists baffles me, it's pretty obvious who's at fault here.
Most of them work useless jobs, and affirmative action takes jobs away from more qualified people (re: white and Asian males).
There is room for female employment, and in some takes they're better than men, but overall the female workforce should be cut by 70%.

My time to shine: my grandpa bought a school at auction in a place where alcoholism had pretty much destroyed the town. He turned some of the classrooms into offices and the gymnasium into a factory. He had some parents, and there was demand for his product but his employees were all alcoholics. His turnover was nuts.
My dad gave him the idea to turn around and hire these guys wives. At this point hiring women was pretty much unheard of, but they were desperate to feed their kids so they were there on time and worked their asses off while their husbands drank themselves to death. The best part of the deal was he only had to pay them half of what he was paying the men.
