I don't like all these newfangled websites, having accounts, keeping up with all the bullshit, etc. I don't know what I'm missing, but /pol/ is an easier thing to keep an eye on in case something big goes down.

I tried that last year. Twatter fucking sucks.
I was banned after the first 4 days that I signed up. The only thing I did was translate Trump Tweets in Jap to Jap nationalists. Immediate ban when I didn't even do anything that would normally be considered as ban worthy.

I can get my news from elsewhere without needing to give my phone number. Fuck social media, it's just a trap to get your information. When I was younger, I remember being told not to put personal information on the internet. If you asked someone in 2000 to upload their photo albums for the world to see they would tell you to fuck off but now people are doing it willingly.
