This article is a sad excuse for journalism. The gross generalizations and assumption that anyone who does not like this casting is automatically male, is simply delusional paranoid writing. Drawing comparison between Ghost-busters and wonder woman is illogical. Ghost-busters failed because of poor writing and moronic male character interpretations. Wonder woman was successful because the character has ALWAYS been female and nothing was changed to dramatically alter the mythology of her story. I seriously doubt that children are aware of the feminist interpretations and agendas that this article claims. If the show fails, men will be blamed - if the show is successful women will take credit. It seems more and more journalists are advocating for bigger gender divides so that their own personal political agendas remain relevant. Dismissing males as "cry babies" is so humiliating, that I struggle to understand how the feminist mind can see this as a representative attitude for equality. Claiming that men are the only ones reacting this way is bigotry at it's finest. Saw pic related in another post but it got archived before I could respond. Reading it gave me a little more insight into leftist/nu-male psychology. Most probably understand this but writing it out helps me understand things better, so I'll share.

Its obviously a political statement. But what kind of statement is it really? There's no declaration of his opinion at all, is there? No, its as passive as can be. Its his child's opinion. Either he thinks his child is morally superior to him or he's terrified of voicing his own opinion, or both. Imagine being a "man" that has so little testosterone, he can't even make a statement himself and has to hide behind children (or women like many others do). Even after quoting his child, he can't say whether or not he agrees. Instead, he forces the reader come to the conclusion. He's psychologically auto-castrated himself and he's done it through his own words and thoughts. And you see this in the real life too. They always hide behind women in rallies and at work. They are always afraid to offend. They are always telling people to stop talking about certain topics that may offend, but when confronted, they shut down and don't know how to respond until women come to their aid. How different are they from a woman? They act exactly the same. They look for social conformity and approval, which is why they'll never proclaim their beliefs with conviction.

He wanted to tweet his support for the new female Dr. Who actress. What he didn't realize is how easily the brain can deceive you. When given a list of tasks, the brain has an uncanny ability for choosing the second most difficult task. It does so because of two countering forces. I tries to balance the satisfaction of difficult task completion with the ease of its completion. It takes will power and long term thinking (not instant gratification) by doing the more difficult tasks. It takes none to do the easy ones. Discipline (and testosterone) regulates the former. Fear and laziness regulate the latter. He could have chosen to voice his own opinion, but that could result in possible conflicts with him having to defend his position. So what does he do? He piggyback's on his child's opinion, because only a monster would criticize a child, right? Thus, he satisfies voicing his opinion (although indirectly), as well as not having to defend his position. The second most difficult option, even though, in this case, there were only two to choose from. So how does this relate to greatness? Greatness confronts difficulties head on. It does not hide behind fear, laziness, or instant gratification. It is far-seeing. It requires discipline. It is terrifying to those that lack it because they are reminded of just how insignificant they are. It doesn't always have to be this way though. They can embrace difficulty through realization of what tricks the brain plays on decision making and its consequences. But the fear is always there. Stopping them. Some push through it, others never do.
