This is generally not the case. Assuming it is, though, it's a pretty simple choice. Compromise, don't, or acquire traits women themselves will compromise for. If you're only looking for somebody to share your DNA with, then it shouldn't be too hard to find somebody.

This is unfortunately not the case, for reason that you should already know.
