As a person who manages a few places around my area I can say this is pretty spot on. In order to make a profit in Australia there has to be a 300% mark up on all services at a bare minimum, that's why you have to pay upwards of $40 for a decent meal. Never understood this in the US. I tip 10% of the bill as standard for decent service. I go 20% for a particularly personable or very hardworking wait staff. I've gone all the way up to 50% in places that I visit regularly if the service is exceptional.

Why some nigger in the US expects a high tip if they provide shit service or have a bad attitude is beyond me. If you're good at your job and friendly the gratuities will flood in for you. If you're a wanker and still expect this then fuck off and find another job.

I don't just tip, I overtip, regardless of service. It's a matter of my social status. That is to say, if the meal was good enough to eat my fill, I tip. I make enough money to tip 30%+ regardless of the check amount. By doing so I enforce that I have the ability to and I also get the gratification of spending locally. To that end, I do tip slightly less when I'm abroad. I tip the least when I eat solo and abroad, about the amount I would think most people tip, ~15% to ~%20 depending.

Related notes, I've never given a bum money, though I did once give a man a dollar bill to make up bus fare in my city. I do give to charity in small, hundred dollar amounts. I do readily lend money within my family but I've never lent money or borrowed money from a friend or acquaintance.

In America we don't force $5 delivery fees. Instead we allow the customer to decide what is fair and tip that. But there are many, if not most, that give less than $2 when service was even better than promised. And they are clearly just taking advantage of the honor system setup by the employer. More and more restaurants are removing the customers' decision and forcing higher delivery fees or included tip percentages. Enjoy.

Just because restaurant owners use typical fucking jew kikery to jip wait staff out of reasonable wages and also to evade taxes, that still doesn't make it the problem of the customer.

The problem remains between the employer and the jew who is abusing them.

Demanding the customer subsidises a waitrons inability to get a decent job or negotiate a decent wage is fucking shit tier behaviour and we all know it.

Waitrons deliberately spread this "tip or i'll fuck with your food" attitude to such an extent that I much prefer going grocery shopping and cooking my own decent meals, (like the homemade lasagne that is currently in my oven) and not have to put up with nigger behaviour from waitrons.

I tip everyone. Even the pizza guy. Mostly I let the amount tipped show my appreciation or dissatisfaction with their job performance.
