The thing is with Weed, is that it will have an effect on your ability to study. It will decrease your ability for learning especially in science where you have to remember formulas.

Personally i regret my time i smoked weed it was a waste of time, and i got lazy by doing it. Another observation is that people who smoke once or more a day always does it for a reason i.e they try to escape from something or think it helps with anxiety.

I think the biggest problem is the escapism, where i am from it is more social acceptable to smoke weed everyday than to drink alcohol everyday. Weed is getting a false reputation of not having any drawbacks.
And while its true that all people react differently everyone i have seen who smoke regularly have become slow and gotten bad memory even in the periods they dont smoke, because it builds up in the system.
