Spain is nice and not bad immigration-wise. That said a lot of Spaniards have Moor blood and you can really tell.

Toledo and Salamanca are especially /comfy/, but Madrid isn't bad. Never got to go to Barcelona/Catalan but from what I've heard they are a lot more liberal than westward Spain.

I went to Barcelona/Pennedis/Ibiza like 4 years ago. Loved every second of it. If I hit the lottery tomorrow I would move to Barcelona each summer to enjoy the sweet topless beaches and cervecarias. Wouldn't mind living in a small town though. I have a buddy who's dad is from Malaga so I wouldn't mind checking that out too.

Well I stayed in a suite at The W and only went to the super touristy areas. Penedes was cool too. Stayed at a winery but everyone in town was super chill drinking and smoking weed in the tables in the middle of streets.
