It's dumb that you can move from one state to another and spend a year scrambling to figure out the shit that they learned that the old state didn't teach, while you're sitting there bored in other lessons because you already learned it. Plus some states just have shitty standards and this was a way to replace them. I'm not sure what you mean by "system" because Common Core did nothing else besides replace standards. Standardized testing, which usually gets lumped in, is 100% separate and has nothing to do with CC.
