Donald Trumps wealth has less effect on my personal financial issues than the hundreds of thousands of illegal Mexican immigrants drawing welfare for their 4 anchor babies. Welfare that comes from the extra 4% in income tax I pay that's on top of my federal taxes (yes I live in California). 4% that can translate to hundreds of extra dollars a month lost and thousands over years.

I'm in a better financial situation than many due to my being a Veteran (and so I get a housing allowance). I can afford to work part time. But even then, I'm losing something like $50 a month in California income taxes. It goes way up when I start working more in Summer breaks from school and such. As I've said, I'm fortunate in that I can survive with that, but $50 is not insignificant. That's about 3 weeks worth of gas money. That could almost pay my phone bill, that's a good dinner at one of me and my gfs favorite restaurants, that's a dozen other things. But I have to give it up, or the largest share of it because of California's welfare state that does absolutely nothing to discourage irresponsible behavior (ie, having fucking kids before you can god damn afford them)

That's why this picture is retarded. Donald Trump being a billionaire has absolutely nothing to do with what I just described. It's not as if because Trump is a billionaire he is somehow taking money out of my pocket. In fact, he is more likely to be responsible for putting money into my pocket in the form of a job. At least, more likely than Juan and his 4 little brats.

I should clarify, I get a housing allowance because I'm in school on the GI bill

Man i love this obvious sage thread, also why are you assuming only republicans are poor. The party that wants to decrease taxes on every level of society is benefiting everyone not only the rich. The democrats want increased taxes hurting the middle class and the poor, the rich isn't affected because they have larger savings.
