USSR was the first European country to legalize homosexuality. The initial Soviet policy was free love, abolition of "bourgeois" marriage and all that communist stuff.

Stalin changed that once he had absolute power and these states that became commie after WWII took Stalinism as insipiration so they were not pro-degeneracy. The original Bolshevik revolution was literally the same sexual revolution that has overtaken the West now. There is no cultural Marxism, it's just ordinary Marxism, and the West is experiencing a partial communist revolution while Stalinism was sort of a partial counter-revolution.
