I feel like I'm going to be speaking on behalf of a lot of uneducated, 20-something's in America but this post is geared towards illegal immigrants and less of Mexicans as a people.

As a college drop out, I'm really not in the position to formulate such a system but I'm fairly certain that there are some incredibly intelligent people in our country that could whip something up and with enough meticulous refinement could procure a nice solution. Maybe get education in how to install renewable energy, like solar panels in the midwest or some shit. Or maybe, we can't bring in an excessive amount of migrants because of population issues or maybe even we lack the resources to support such a boom in population.

At EVERY step of the process, somebody is making a lot of money and citizens are disempowered through addiction, imprisonment, workforce displacement, and social problems arriving from tribalism.

The problem has little to do with Mexican culture- a lot of the worst immigrants and criminals are South American getting into the US through Mexico. If the War on Drugs focused on treatment instead of imprisonment for users, if the borders were secured better, if non-trafficking immigrants were naturalized or deported, you would see a level of positive change that would floor you.

But these things are in place because they are of interest to people in power. I don't believe all the bad policy is just ignorance, there is malice and the intent of disempowering labor.
