I know no one cares, but jesus fuck. I really enjoyed Doctor Who, i stopped watching during transition to 12th doctor (didn't care for the new guy), but curiosity got the better of me recently and i watched the last season two part finale.

The outright propaganda was way more than i could bear. The episode premise was that a black lesbian companion woman is trapped in a white ((cyber))man body, which causes her great suffering, to the point that she is willing to suicide, which Doctor agrees is an acceptable way to proceed. All that brilliance is accompanied by scene after scene of "zingers" about future is all female and Trump, of course.

I couldn't believe it, i literally had to google to confirm that what i watched was actual episode they aired and not some sneaky audio edits by some shill to push a political agenda.

Watching Doctor Who used to fill me with hope, now i have a slight feeling of disgust even watching the old episodes. Fuck you new BBC, you've destroyed a beautiful thing, that you had nothing to do with, for no reason. Fuck you.

I've loved every season of new Doctor Who up until the last 2. Something clearly changed in the writing department around season 8 when gender issues were brought up regularly within episodes for seemingly no reason.

Skip forward to the latest season, they have a female companion who's a lesbian, which in itself is fine. But they wrote the story in such a way that the fact that she's a lesbian was explained in literally every single fucking episode in one way or another. Most of the time when a man was hitting on her.

Another aspect of the latest season that was clearly hijacked by sjw writers was literal sexist, anti-male jokes throughout several episodes. They weren't even well disguised or cleverly implemented, they were just blatantly there.

I honestly couldn't give two shits whether the Doctor was a man or a woman, as long as the acting and writing was stellar. But we know that isn't going to be the case, it's fucking dead

I honestly though that myself when I watched his season on TV for the first time. But after viewing his seasons again I've absolutely changed my opinion. The whole storyline with the astronaut on the beach - can't remember the season - was pretty phenomenal in hindsight.

Also Matt Smith's episodes are the only ones that really bring up any emotions. The ones that come to mind first is the Van Gogh episode and the one with the sentient sun, they were actual tearjerkers which was a nice change of pace from the over-the-top action sometimes.

In my opinion it was the end of Matt Smith's seasons, the middle of season 7, when the writing became noticeably terrible
