Because it steered me in the right direction and helped me find a sense of purpose I've always been lacking. This book explores the whole concept of genius and examines the process of learning and mastering a field, and what it takes. What I particularly liked was Greene's point on how our childhood hobbies and interests are very important displays and hints on where your for a lack of a better term "calling" might be. You loved to draw - earliest hint of you being an artist, loved legos - engineer/scientist/techie etc. These signs don't necessarily have to be hobbies or interests - they could be fascinations with certain objects or love of certain sensations. The book is definitely worth checking out.

the only thing he's said about Mussolini so far is that he thinks it's smart for him to not be openly anti-Semitic, because there aren't enough Jews in Italy for him getting up on stage and calling for a RAHOWA (paraphrased obviously) to make any sense to his audience
