Yeah I'm Cchristian Ifor Alife
Question: 2 Corinthians 4:4 says that Satan is god of this world - basically that he has power over this physical realm.
If this is the case, how do you know that Satan didn't manipulate with (parts of) the Bible to mislead you?
>inb4 God wouldn't let him
Well, obviously God lets Satan do evil. This is clear from the Bible and from life in general. If God wanted to stop Satan he would have done so, no? He's all-powerful.
So, Christfags?
Gnostics seem to have a point... the (((Demiurgos))) bamboozled you Christfags.
>>133840401
>Christfags won't respond to this
It's just for LARPing anyway, right?
Being religious is retarded
>>133840401
If Satan were really manipulating the Bible, why would you appeal to a Bible verse as your reason for believing that? Wouldn't Satan make sure to omit details like that if he were actually controlling the Bible? Besides: The Bible was written by human beings. If Satan changed their words after they wrote them down, they would notice. If Satan changed their words after they died, their followers would notice.

Maybe you could wait a bit more than 5 minutes next time.

>If Satan were really manipulating the Bible, why would you appeal to a Bible verse as your reason for believing that?
It could be that he manipulated with parts of it, in which case, relying to the Bible would still make sense sometimes.
We just cannot know.
But more importantly: my point is logical and stands on its own. It doesn't need the Bible to be produced. It goes like this:
1) it is possible (conceivable) that the Universe is a simulation manipulated by a trickster god
2) such a trickster god could put a "holy book" and write its contents to fuck with people's heads, preventing them realization of the trickery
3)

If the universe is a simulation created by a malevolent god then all hope is lost to begin with. That has nothing to do with the topic at hand. You completely ignored my second argument.
>>133842284
>: The Bible was written by human beings.
Can Satan manipulate with human beings?
Can he tempt them and make them err?
Basically fuck with their minds?
>>133842284
>If the universe is a simulation created by a malevolent god then all hope is lost to begin with
No, not necessarily. Obviously, there is something he cannot manipulate, and that is logic/reason.

Logic and reason are obviously completely useless when dwelling in a simulation. What are you going to do, think your way out? Idiot. Are you worried that your video game characters are going to rebel against you and hijack your computer?
As to your other point: Satan can't manipulate people who have convened with the Holy Spirit. If he actually could, then Jesus Christ would have given them warning. More to the point, Christ would have written the Bible directly instead if what you say is true.
>>133843649
>Logic and reason are obviously completely useless when dwelling in a simulation.
You are mistaken.
Can you create video game characters for whom 1+1 won't be 2, and for whom if A equals B and B equals C, therefore a equals C? Or for whom tautologies (A=A) won't be true? No, that's impossible.
You can create strange worlds for them. Worlds without gravity, for instance. But you can't create worlds that break the laws of logic.
>>133843649
>As to your other point: Satan can't manipulate people who have convened with the Holy Spirit.
How do you know that when you are influenced by the Holy spirit , it's not really Satan that is influencing you?
For instance some people speak in tongues and say "that was the Holy spirit". some say it's really demonic
so who decides if it's a demon or the HS?
