I wish I didn't drop out of university with only 1 of my final exams left after wasting 8 years of my life getting a law degree. Even if I manage to reapply to some other uni, it'll take me at least 1,5 years to get that degree with more hrs of studying shit, and it's a best case scenario. Well that job is in legal field but I'm working under the table. Looking for some compliance jobs at some fucking bank or multinational kike company atm, planning to go back to uni on an evening course, but due to new legislation in the recent years I might be fucked when it comes to them accepting my already done courses.

Spent some years in a sort of NEET purgatory, then my education started when I decided to get fit. Learning so much about nutrition and physicality for my new obsession was the gateway to self-improvement. And exercise, specifically extended cardio, grows new brain cells, so I'm sure that helped me along.

You don't need school to have an education, you just have to cultivate a scholarly mindset and skill. The internet is your friend.

Public school here in the US is garbage and I don't know anyone that remembers anything other than the basics.

I dropped out of grade 9, was NEET for at least 5 years of my teen years, but went to TAFE and got grade 10 eventually also done a couple of courses/certs/youth programs over the years. I'm 22 and just got my learners and trying to learn to drive a manual car. Never had a job, but I got on newstart recently and looking for work, I'm not very reliable until I can drive by myself.

It would take me 6 months to get grade 12 at a Uni program or something, but have no idea yet what kind of career I want. I'm lucky to have parents that put up with me.

Also another thing. School seems so encompassing and so important when you're young and you've spent the entirety of your youth going. But life is so much bigger. Go out get a job, try your hardest to make your job a career, and opportunities will open up before your eyes. Find a gal, get married, have kids, that's life. School was on my mind for a good while in my late teens and early twenties like any other person that spent so long there, but once you start living your adult life all of it fades quick.

If you truly want a higher education then get your ass in gear and go get it, but if you're just looking to live life, go get a job and work your ass off to be the best you can, expertise is gained slowly with deliberate care. Before you realize it you'll have your education and skillset, even if it's a general manager position at McDonalds or a Forman of a construction crew, or journeyman plumber.
