To be fair to her I do think we're setting women up to fail in life far more so than with men. Think about the way the media sells city life to women, think about shows like Sex and the City and Lena Dunham's Girls. True. Then the problem isn't specifically with women, it's with all use of socialism as a cover for laziness and/or incompetence. I'm heavily pro-capitalism, but I think there is a place for social safety nets, and indeed in practice they tend to make capitalism more effective. The problem is when welfare is disguised as something else. If incompetent/lazy people just got welfare because they're not as good at doing things as others, at least it's honest and out in the open and can be debated. But if it's disguised by being implemented as, for example, laws about who you can hire, then it leads to problems.
