I live in a part of Austria where you'd have to save for 25 years to make a 40% down payment for a house where 4 people can live. I could relocate to another part of Austria in bumfuck nowhere with zero infrastructure but there would be zero jobs. Around ten families hold 50% of the whole private wealth in Austria. Most came to wealth collaborating with an emperor, Hitler, Soviets or Americans. I'm making more than minimum wage but many people do or they earn even less and I can understand that they're pissed. The productivity of every job goes up while employers want to cut costs at every corner despite the majority making record surplusses. It's a bullshit system, if you're young you work your ass off getting a good education and working full time so you can watch others with the right relationships but zero knowledge getting ahead of you at every job.
