Two days later, there's a knock on my door and there is fucking MAX and two random mobsters with me, to which je offers me to repay the debt by working for him, which I declined. Then I swallowed my pride, told my parents everything and we managed to collect the money from friends to pay him back.
When I gave Sam the money, he didn't even hide his disappointment. My father never spoke with him again.
