Hitler believed that christianity was at fault for the emasculation of the german people, that it was due to the christianization of us germans that we lost our iconic furor and might.

His vision was to mend christianity with germanic pagan believes to create a new "volksglauben" (folk religion) that should appease the christian population but also instill the people as he believed with the necessary pagan believes that made us stronger and more militant.

However after the NSDAP came to power, they didn't really do much with that concept. They made it law to celebrate certain "pagan" holidays (Erntedank and Mittsommerfest) but that was basically it. Because WW2 was as much of a spiritual battle as it was a physical battle. The history books will tell that it was a contest of political ideologies- nationalism (Axis) v. democracy (Allies, except for Russia). This is not true, at least not completely.

WW2 was a spiritual struggle firstly between the Christianized world (U.S., Britain, and their satellites like Australia and Canada, etc) and the forces of darkness that were then represented by Germany and Japan. Japan’s religion basically held that their emperor was ‘god’ and that the Japanese people and lands were superior to all others on the earth. Likewise, Germany was never truly an ally of Christendom. If you look at what Germany had done up to that point in history (attacked and dismantled the Holy Roman Empire after it was Christianized, became the Weimar republic, and started WW1) you can see that it was never truly a Christian nation. Hitler was the culmination of this, going so far as to say that one could not be a good Nazi and a good Christian simultaneously, and even banning prayer in some cases near the end of the war.
