Everybody always"interferes" in everybody else's elections -- look at Obama trying to sway elections in Israel or the Brexit vote.

It is normal and expected behavior.

What would be abnormal and unacceptable would be for somebody involved in the election on our country to have been helping them do it.

So far, in spite of a lot of allegations from sources with an axe to grind, there is not much evidence that this happened. Though accepting mettings with lawters claiming top have oppo research from the Russian Government is getting close to that, as is the paper trail that seems to link Clinton;s campaign to fake dossiers on Trump produced in Russia.

IF it can be shown that either campaign was as willing to collude with Russia to fuck up a US election, that seems to me to be getting awfully close to the treason line.

At this point, a pox on both their houses, as far as I'm concerned.

Lobbying/Influence would be less of an issue if the US had more Strong leaders that cared about the County, and less about Bank accounts & fancy parties. Now of course Blackmail & Corruption are also factors, but those are usually caused by Weak leaders getting into positions of power that they were never supposed to be in.
