Leftists are under the impression that children are a ton of work and that if you have too many then you must be a bad parent that can't accommodate their needs..

They aren't hard. They are human beings with brains that can become self sufficient quickly. Most of the time you would love for them to come to you with a problem or ask your for advice but they won't. They grow up fast and quickly want to live their own lives.

They dont realize that life is like Civilizations 5. Anyone remember that game? Whats the most important thing in Civ to winning? Your population. The more population your cities have, the more science you have each turn, the more tiles and buildings you can work, the faster the more gold you produce each turn, etc.

The outcome is having more population is directly tied to how fast you tech up, produce things, and make money.


Real life is the same. Imagine a future type II civilization. Do you imagine a tiny group of 100 million people barely populating even .1% of the earths surface? Or do you imagine countless trillions of people living in massive swarms of habitats in space, dyson ladders around the sun made of cylinder habitats, massivs bustling human cities and colonies all throughout the stars.


We should be striving to grow our population as much as we can as quickly as we can, given our current technological limitations, because the more people we have, the more scientists, doctors, engineers, researchers, economists, astronauts, tax payers, etc we have, and that means the faster we progress as a civilization.

This entire notion of overpopulation is frankly obscene. There is no such thing. No industrialized nation suffere from too many people, and just because a few major cities have tight population densities doesnt mean they are suffering huge issues that arent outweighed by the benefits.

Some day soon we will begin building habitats in space as part of a space economy, and all these extra people will be very useful.

If we suffered massive population decline I would argue we would also experience technological stagnation and regression, as we would be unable to maintain the level of civilization we have.

I am not posting anything photos having to do with my children.

Four foster children. Originally just my niece and nephew, but we've got two more on a temporary (Less than one year) basis. I have my first biological on the way.

I tried to delay having children because I believed the horror stories. I could see that for babies, but not for any child over 6. I taught the youngest how to cook a different item once per weekend, and now he can manage himself almost completely.

Cooking is 75% prep. Getting your shit out and measuring it. This process scales up easily, and it's much easier to justify cooking something great if it's for many people.

Otherwise school keeps them busy.. Outside of school you can buy them bikes and cheap cell phones and let them go to the park. People stress out because they don't give their kids the freedom to go somewhere and over-monitor them. Predators exist, but most of the time they are family members (especially fosters).

I say this in every thread, but the same people who said raising kids was hard also said that algebra was hard. Most people are pretty bad at most things; and if you're not a bronze league retard, you should have no problem.

My grandmother did this until I was 18.

Now it's hard to organize more than sporadically and on holidays.

I cook for the gf and son at least 3-4 days a week, trying to get to not eating out more than twice a week. I take leftovers to work for lunch almost every day, she does it at least twice.

My last gf a few years back had us eating out almost every meal. Often at very nice restaurants. You should have seen the fit she threw when I kept track of how much we spent over 2 months. About $3500, not counting her Starbucks obsession, which was about $30-40 a week.

I am a canine trainer and over the last decade the way people have started to treat their dogs like they're kids has me slapping my forehead more times a day then you can imagine.

My childless Clients/Co-workers:

All the while most of these dogs are getting stressed the fuck out because they don't know how to handle not being treated like a dog, or worse they expect to be treated like a human child.

Catfags are the worst. It's awful, they can't even conceptualize what's wrong with them and instead lash out at others. Very sad.

When people are on social media, I don't think this awareness switches off, leading people to make some ridiculous claims to make people who genuinely are clueless about self-maintenance feel less alone. If you watch young women play with kids which aren't theirs you'll see this more clearly.

They never succeeded. They got to college then formed a group with like-minded friends who base their existence on telling one another that they do nothing but sleep and worry about student loans, then proceed to do just that.
