Because the wealth disparity in the US is getting to the point where even white men realize that no matter how hard they work they will never make it to the top rung of society.
This has essentially produced for the first time in our history a racial divide within a race. Wealthy families and dynasties want nothing to do with the poor so they live only among their own, so even passive upward social mobility within whites is dead. Which in turn reduces the flow of new ideas into the community.

That is the main reason.

There are many secondary reasons that more so apply to all races like the quality of life being high enough to where even if you are poor you can live a decent enough life to be at least ambivalent about it. This, coupled with weaker family units and thus dependencies, prevents the desperation that in the past propelled most poor people to work themselves to death to climb the ladder.

In effect the world became so good (at least in the US) that we stopped caring about it.

No reason to contribute. White women want Chad's and non-white men and the average white guy is punished for being white and being male. So fuck it all, let it all go to shit.

6. Women treat men like shoes and guys caught on. Any man who can learn to be happy jacking it simply does so and avoids huge fees, alimony, an entire society seemingly hell bent on making you pay for other people because you are a white male.

Because when women dismantled their own gender roles it necessarily had an effect on men. There are single women, career women, stay at home women, every kind of woman is not only okay but fantastic and unique, and then there are men. All the social standings that we could rely on were essentially pointed out to never have existed. We think of ourselves primarily as tools within society, and now that we're told that we're not needed or in fact bad for that society, we've got no real stake in it. It'll be fine without us, and it doesn't want us anyway so why be a part of it? Why opt in in the first place?

Men certainly aren't blameless, least of all for playing their part quietly for the last hundred years or so, and we should probably stop bitching over so much spilled milk and move on. Hipsters already proved they can create an entire new strata of society separate from the mainstream so why can't individual men? And individual women, too. The roles don't exist so stop trying to be an actor.
