“I strongly urge Congress to reconsider the proposal of a separate service Space Corps”

Let's archive that

The proposal was just a way of distracting people from the failure to repeal Obamacare that same day.

BASED NORBRO
A new branch is a new opportunity for infiltration. I can fucking guarantee that a space branch would just be full of CIA niggers.
The future of space is in collaboration with marines and airforce.
>>133584282
mattis is a liberal, what do you expect?
>>133584430
This.
>>133584430
this. Marines and Airforce would be best for space, you dont need a whole new branch for it.
not yet anyway
>>133584282
Air Force does this already Mattis made a smart move, another service would mean another shit ton of expenses that we don't need right now. Until space travel and bases in space are more feasible it makes no sense to make a separate service just for them. When there are plenty of manning and funding issues already service wide.
>>133584282
Is it to defend satellites and such from foreign hostiles, or is it to defend earth against spaceniggers?
>>133584282
(((Space Corp))) to go along with the EU's space station HQ in the Lagrange point between Earth and the moon. The jews are LITERALLY trying to become SPACE JEWS and rule over us from space.
>>133584309
Do you even sleep?
>>133584430
LITERAL
SPACE
MARINES
>>133584901
he's omnipresent
>>133584282
y tho
Mattis you betrayed my hopes and dreams
>>133584430
Why would the CIA be interested in space? Are they trying to give arms to radical alien rebels or something?
>>133585098
we can still have space fun, just not a designated space corps
Instead of arming space more how about we worry about mining prospects for economic reasons.
Asteroids are nice this time of year.
>>133585117
They would be able to have full control over the final frontier. How do you not see why that's important? If the CIA had this power the future of American lives beyond earth rests in the hands of people who don't have their interests in consideration.
Kill all Moon Rabbits
Space war now
>>133584282
>United States Space Corps
>USSC
I'm sorry, but you aren't a red-blooded 'Murican if that acronym doesn't giving you a raging hard-on.
>>133584309
blessings to the non-nigger-filled parts of norway.
>>133584282
Because he knows the truth about the firmament.
>>133584282
But without Space Corp how are we going to fight against the Chinese and their prototype teleporters and warp drives?
>>133584282
I agree. Air force can do the job already. Anything space military related is going to be unmanned vehicles and missiles to knock out GPS and communication satellites. The unmanned space vehicles would hopefully be defensible GPS and communication devices to avoid Chinese ground to space missile tech.
>>133584282
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I WANT SPEESH MARINES
>>133584901
Just go with it alright
>>133584282
He's got a good point, any of our current branches could take up the challenge.
Good, the less agency's the better, let alone another "space" one to pilfer away more of our tax dollars.
>>133584282
This is really funny to see make it into normie headlines
How do people still not widely know about the non terrestrial personnel file that was hacked from NASA? The space corps exists and has existed and Mattis is not about to blow the fucking lid off the whole god damn thing just because Trump git read some hollow earth books as a kid
>>133584282
I'd follow this man to the gates of hell, but that's something I can't agree on. We need to get off this rock but we won't be able to direct funding to nasa without our bloated military getting buttmad, so just combine the two.
>>133584282
Welp. looks like I'm enlisting. I knew memes were becoming reality but I could never have predicted I would actually become a space marine for the emperor.
>>133584282
All space stuff should be through the Air Force.
>>133585213
space corps sounds so much cooler though, and putting an air force where there is no air and the marines where there is no (marina?) is just silly
>>133585117
CIA is interested in everything
>>133584775
but this is how r&d happens to get those things rolling in the first place.
>>133592263
space marines sailing the cosmic ocean sounds good to me
>>133585117
build a orbital ring and load it up with orbital weapons to tyrannize over the rest of earth.

Space is not yet active combat theatre so current it's unuse of funds
>fighting for israel's wars in the stars
good goyim
Agree, Navy should obviously handle it.
>tmw you wanted to be part of the colonial marines
>>133584282
Training manual already made
But...
Master chief...
>>133584430
>muh muhrines
why? They are literally the most useless branch. Navy doesn't need them to do security anymore and the Army has Airborne units and Rangers to use as shock troopers. Literally what is the point of them?
>>133584430
There's nothing for marines to do in space yet. There are no menial meathead jobs and by the time we have enough traffic in space, we'll have machines to do those.
>>133584282
Great, now fallen niggers will steal all of our space shit
Which branch is doing "cyber" warfare?
>>133593272
>>133584282
>Space Corps
WTF. Build the space wall
>>133584430
a space program in the current age would just be exploited by sjws to seed mental illness, dindus, and pajeets across the galaxy to thrive for the rest of eternity and to successfully guarantee that we will never be rid of the plague again.
>>133584282
Mattis is a neocon filled with Hubris. Openly goes against Trump..
I hope the military people come to their senses soon. I love our military guys, but people are wrong about him.
>>133584282
Of course. The Air Force is already supposed to cover space. Also, space isn't supposed to be militarized by international treaty.
>>133584282
It's because he knows the earth is flat and space isn't real.
Checkmate, atheists.
>>133584430
The only branch equipped to deal with large pieces of infrastructure floating in the middle of nowhere is the Navy
>>133590062
More info?
>>133598742
Ahem.
>>133585117
>Why would the CIA be interested in space?
I swear, /pol/ is so innocent sometimes.
>>133599154
NRO is more CIA & NSA than USAF.
>>133584901
bots dont sleep
>>133584309
If Jesus was alive today, could we even tell the difference between him and Norbot? Or are they one and the same
>>133584282
Because it's more big government
Skymarshall Mattis confirmed
>>133599247
The X-37 literally has USAF logos painted on it.
>>133599540
Because the NRO is a part of the USAF dumbass, but it is more NSA and CIA than USAF. It is literally an intelligence agency that was formed from members of the CIA and NSA. All they do is share a budget with the USAF, and can go around the whole "not allowed to operate in the US" issue that the CIA has.
>>133599715
That's retarded. The CIA operates in the US. Fuck's sake, their headquarters are in Virginia (which I am reliably informed is in the US). They just can't spy on Americans.
But guess what? Neither can the Air Force! Posse Comitatus, bitch.
>>133599919
>the NRO doesn't spy on Americans
lol.
>>133584282
If burgers want to colonize mars, they need a space corps. Without one, the chinks will just steal burgers space bases.
>>133584282
China has a separate Army Rocket Force branch. It deals primarily with ballistic missile arsenals. What exactly does Congress envision the purpose of the Space Corps to be? Do they just want a more direct military-industrial funding pipeline for NASA? To be fair, NASA got a lot more shit done during the Cold War when it was functionally a Pentagon subsidiary rather than a feel-good research outfit.
>>133584282
>America is already planning too surreal natural resources from people that might not even exist
>>133584282
This. It already existed since the 60's a little late son.
>>133593272
They make great sandbags.
>t. Army airborne
>space corps
>50 billion budget
>does nothing
Space Branch is a bad idea because USG is now so sclerotic and incompetent that the only things in existing institutions that work do so via inertia from pre-bloat days. A Space Branch won't have any pre-poz institutional history to run off of, instead being created and operated basically ex nihilo by a bunch of clueless bureaucrats.
This is also why the DoD's cyber operations are so terrible.
