I'd have preferred to take over the entire East Coast if possible and take NYC and Washington DC (Financial capital of the world and US seat of power, East Coast is closer to Europe and the Mid East), but doing so means you don't get much coastline or area as the states are so small, so you can't effectively blockade the rest of the USA by taking over 3/4 states.

I think you're overestimating the geographical power of Texas. You make a good point about the entire US vs the West Coast, but remember that we will have Nukes as well thanks to all the military bases on the West Coast, so it will probably result in an endless stalemate. I mean ffs, the USA hasn't even been able to deal with that insane cunt in North Korea who has a tinpot weapons stockpile, so good luck going up against the entire West Coast who's now 100% white and armed with the best weaponry available. The only noticeable thing missing from the West's arsenal is access to any (or a significant portion) of the US ICBM stockpile, if I recall correctly the're mostly in the middle of the US (Kansas and what not) and on the East Coast.
