I guess there's morality which assists with group survival and social stability, but that's not objective as it is not universal.

I guess there's no objective morality, but that doesn't mean belief in morality isn't a good thing for the vast majority of people.

I think that's a pretty standard philosophy. Probably why they call it the "golden rule".

I think in Western Civ morality ties in with aesthetics to a great extent. This seems to be different to ideas of morality according to say, Papua New Guineans.
