If they're shit, or illogical, you'll get called out on them. This is different to Reddit, Twitter, phpbbs, et al where registration date, post count, and cliques will determine if you're even allowed to voice an opinion, or what happens to the discussion once it's out there.

Nothing's bound to your identity (unless you manage to get van'd) and it's all deleted after a few minutes of inactivity.

/pol/ is like the Nürburgring of political opinions where you can test drive the latest dumb shit you've been thinking about. I like the cheeky banter too.
