Don Jr didn't acknowledge the "russian government" in his emails. unless he has other correspondence where he talks in depth about how he loves the fact that the Russian Government has been so helpful and passes along Trump Sr.'s acknowledgement in the matter, then its still not a crime.

right now though, this doesn't really do much to the narrative other than if the Russian government had reached out to Don Jr he would have accepted their help.
