The fast food market, Maccas is pretty easily substituted by the other fast food chains so it's collapse would (theoretically) be of little note to day to day life, big news for fast food chains though.

A company that could serve the food cheaper by getting rid of labor cost, or being able to serve something that taste great and has no calories for whick thay have the exclusive rights to
Fast Food has 2 major advantages - its cheap, and its convenient. However, with Uber Eats, and soon, autonomous delivery cars, lots of restaurants can compete for your dollar. The biggest expense of a lot of restaurants is road facing properties - and the liability of dine-in/walk-in facilities. Kitchens will need to move to central locations in high populous areas. Kitchens can also share resources such as cooling, HVAC, electric, internet, cleaning, general labor, etc by centralizing. No customer face to the property. Imagine getting breadsticks from one restaurant/kitchen, 2 slices of pie from a favorite baker, and a specifc bottle of wine from a wine selection - and its all coming in the same car, from the same building - because the building houses 15 different eateries. Building is designed for autonomous cars to pass through. Cars pickup 10 different meals and immediately dispatch to do deliveries. Customers are rewarded future discounts by being quick to retrieve their order when deliveries arrive. McDonalds will be able to cater to highway, hood, and passing by customers - but will no longer be a destination that someone will leave their office to go on lunch break, or for anyone who is already home. Better food can arrive quickly for not much more money.
