Protip: Incognito mode does not stop tracking services from figuring out who you are.

Unless you use a VPN, your IP address can be tied to every single social media service you use and cookies can easy build up a profile on you and track you across different computers.

Google Analytics is one of the largest ad networks that many websites use. 4chan uses it, Reddit uses it, Gmail uses it, etc.

You are not anonymous. It would be painless to categorize your internet browsing habits into quantifiable data.

>Your favorite porn?
We got that.
>Your relationship status?
We got that.
>What type of subreddits you frequent?
We got that.
>The amount of activity (hours spent, days of week visited) on 4chan and other alt-right sites?
We got that.

Here are some things many people don't know are included in your ad profile:
>Your voter affiliation
>Banking provider and recent transactions
>Your geolocation to the accuracy within 5 miles on every page load
>Your recent Google Now/Alexa voice queries saved in a database

Time is only telling until one rogue person exports this massive profile database and leaks it online.
>>
tl;dr: I am building a profile with the sole purpose of creating moral conflict in the eyes of the overseers.
>>
>>133447439
recaptcha is a google system. I'm convinced that the recaptcha links every 4chan post to your ID through google. 4chan IS NOT ANONYMOUS. You are only anonymous to other 4chan users. Big brother knows exactly who the fuck you are.
>>
You've missed the point of this place entirely. Anonymity between users is important for board culture. Anonymity from outside is neither possible nor necessary.
>>
>>133447439

You should strongly consider use of a VPN service. After coming to understand just how deep these companies are following your personal data, I now almost always use VPN. I don't download shit, just surf the regular websites, nothing out of the ordinary, but I do chuckle when google in my chrome browser prompts me to resolve a captcha because of "unusual activity" (i.e. changing the vpn server to use to access the site).

Vpn shills are cia niggers who just want you to get comfy and let your inhibitions go and embrace peak degeneracy. "Don't worry, no one is watching just go wild goy!" Your soul can only take so much.
>>
1. Use virtual machine (latest version of Linux or Windows Lite installed)
2. Connect virtual ethernet container to your VPN
3. Add ad services to your hosts file
4. Delete your VM and recycle your VPN every time you want a new profile

>>133447439
4chan was never completely anonymous and most people have known that since it began.
>>
I never thought i was anonymous here.
Im much more concerned with the media threats at doxxing people for what they post here under a satire banner. Are they making satire illegal soon? Its plainly stated that all we do here is satire yet they want to dox us for adhering to the sites purpose. Doxxing us is the beginning of ending anonymous political commentary. The federalist papers would never have been written if the guy couldnt publish anonymously. The dox campaign is about ending political satire free speech.

i rotate my ip every few days and use things like noscript so nothing runs on pages without me allowing it. websites are fucking cancer now with all the junk they want to run, i can't stand the internet without like 20 plugins to control things. i'd rather go back to old geocities and tripod pages compared to how things look now by default on most sites.
>>
also, this new thing with the media trying to dox people is a direct result of our info being sold. If that bill had not been passed and signed they wouldnt have a new industry willing to sell our info to them. fucking jews.

If you are still logging in to google/youtube/facebook your VPN isn't doing jack shit. Once those cookies are tracking you they know exactly who you are. Doesn't matter where your VPN says you are located.

Especially if you have a smart phone in your pocket logged into those same accounts updating email etc. Why would the VPN fool them when your phone is giving them precise GPS coordinates down to a few feet?

Google also maps wifi networks. They are just as good as GPS. Smart phones map the locations of every wifi network. Even with your GPS "turned off" they can tell exactly where you are down to a few feet based on what wifi networks are in range. Doesn't matter if you are logged into them or not.

They even admitted all the google street view cars are mapping wifi networks in addition to taking pictures of everything.

Yeah my computer at work doesn't let me install anything without admin permission. Its super effective to keep me from wasting time at work. Can't stand to browse most sites. Some news sites even have 2 videos that will start auto playing at the same time.

It's like they don't even browse their own sites to see how cancerous, bloated, and annoying they are. I would be fine allowing ads on my favorite sites if they weren't so fucking intrusive and ruin the browsing experience. I don't mind simple banner ads along the sides or top and bottom of a page.

these are my plugins for most sites. noscript is probably the biggest thing but it can be a pain to use for normies since you have to allow each site. most times a video wont play unless you whitelist the proper domains. but like you said, with auto playing stuff and sites that want to use crap from 20 other domains, i can't stand it.

id rather go back to geocities pages than how most want to run now.

You'd think there would be a market for a browser that was super light on the trackers.

Just wait, in the not-too-distant future google and facebook will team up to create the new credit system: social credit. Want to buy a new car? What's your social credit score? Hmm, you haven't virtue signaled enough about tranny empowerment this week, your application has been denied. Yes, this was ripped from Black Mirror, but I swear it is going to happen.

Hopefully some hackermen from /pol/ will eventually create new platforms that preserve anonymity.

1. Open router window
2. Release address
3. Change MAC address clone, save
4. Unplug modem
5. Wait 20 seconds
6. New internet address

I do this whenever google starts giving me "targeted ads" even though I have the "self deleting cookies" add on and ZERO local cache enabled.

>>133448058
What is Legacy Captcha? Also connect using https. Just put the extra "s" up there in the address bar. They may know you are coming to 4chan but not which sub, or what you are saying (except the NSA, and Gook Moot).

If I'm ever in a different city I'll purchase something stupid. In Auckland in January I bought a Jewish kippah, then two months later some ice cream and a lotto ticket on the West Coast. A day later sushi and a round of 8 beers in Queenstown. Used it again last month to buy a cookbook for my mums birthday, then last week for a dreamcatcher, a quartz and herbal tea for my sister.

Actually I'm inspired to mess around with it some more, gotta buy some light bulbs and a scope for my rifle tomorrow. I'll put it on the card.

I'm pretty sure banks would be against this to be shared anywhere. It would take just one bank being involved in this for people leaving them en masse. Keeping a secret is in their interest. Sharing this info with gubmints in investigations is one thing, but to offer that data to dataminers sounds nuts.

But always have at least 10 fake accounts that make fake profiles for fake identities for NSA to track, but more importantly for trolling and propaganda. Infiltration of communities.

Just find some company you think you can trust. With VPN, basically for getting anonymity you are giving ALL your data to VPN provider. So if the company is not trustworthy, problem will be even bigger than before. So choose wisely.
