BRICS is militarily untouchable now. Atlanticism is dead and all the sanctions of the west are becoming ineffective. American blue water naval dominance can no longer cut off trade between the world's largest economies and weapons manufacturers. Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon have an unbroken logistical chain going all the way back to China and Russia. At will they could shut down Hormuz, bomb Ghawar and Tel Aviv (both not in NATO) and crash the petrodollar. The US situation in the Middle East is far more precarious than Assad's is. Europe is getting ready to turn on you because they'd rather buy oil from Russia than the fucking mudshit Saudis the US is willing to die for.

So as someone who's new I have a few questions.

You claim the gas attacks are faked, but i've been told all the gas attacks were air-dropped, and because rebels/daesh don't have air capabilities, Syria is the only option and thus Assad is gassing his own people.

Your counter?

People also claim that rebels groups aren't allied with daesh because there's in-fighting among certain terror groups.

True/untrue?

Genuinely curious. Thanks.

From what i've seen there isn't enough credible evidence to support the opposite argument. Syria gave up their arsenal and it was destroyed, as he said, there's only conjecture to support the case that Assad is gassing his own people.

The same tactics the rebels use against Syria are actually identical to those used by Hamas against Israel. I'm sure /sg/ doesn't like to hear me say that, but that's the reality with the crisis actors and propaganda. I see the same shit used against Syria as in Israel.

Likewise, do you have any credible source that proves the SAA used air drops to use chemical weapons?

To my knowledge, the only thing that exists is radar, unless i'm mistaken.

The entire straight is surrounded by Iranian territory. They could mine the whole length of it without even using ships. What you don't understand is that American naval dominance is no longer capable of cutting off Eurasian countries from supplying each other. Russia and China are now capable of supplying all of their middle eastern proxies over land routes. There's nothing you can do to prevent Eurasian integration and the transition of the old world to a land trade instead of sea trade. America will be an island looking from the outside. It's navy will be useless.

Ok, but this is more of an opinion piece than real evidence. The counter to this has been that the Sarin samples haven't been tested against the Syrian government's stock, or if there was, there wasn't a match. Additionally what /sg/ argues is that due to the number of other chemicals present in the sample, it alludes to it being some random Muhammad in his rebel basement cooking up Sarin, rather than something "professionally" done by a legitimate lab under some government (Syria).

With that said, when I say "show me the evidence," i'm talking about the same thing i'm asking from the /sg/ guys; show me that it wasn't an air drop and Syria and its allies being the only ones capable of such an attack (leading the then-drawn allusion to be that Syria carried out the attack). In reverse, I ask of you to show me proof of the opposite being true.

yes the truth of the issue is.. there isn't any CLEAR evidence for either side, because objective analysis doesn't exist, and based on all available context clues, it's a situation of information that doesn't support gas narrative gets suppressed and the destabilization campaign just kept rolling. I like Seymour Hersh's opinion on the matter. He gives off straight shooter vibes and has a history of high quality chemical weapons analysis. It's not an opinion piece, its facts based off the studies made by the OPCW findings. Assad is the only one with access to Sarin and the ability to deploy it from the air. It's all pretty simple.

So if you're not going to believe impartial OPCW findings then who are you going to believe? Anyone that fits your confirmation bias?

Kind of ridiculous.
>>
>>133453847
Ok, then I have another question; were their findings based on on-the-ground research?

Ex: Last military campaign Israel conducted against Hamas resulted in UN reports with false death statistics. The UN reports were not conducted by UN personnel within Gaza, all data was received from Hamas and taken as truthful.

Is that the same conclusion with the OPCW findings? If it isn't, can you link the actual report and begin citing rebuttals to the claims made by /sg/.

To my knowledge, daesh/rebel groups do have access or have attempted to develop biological/chemical weapons; as a laptop has been recovered and videos are online of tests being done on animals by rebel groups.

That is /sg/'s counter. What is yours? If Assad is behind it and a report has already confirmed it, link and cite please.

Ok, so I read both link, but there's still nothing that says "we can confirm Syria used chemical weapons, by means of _________"

The language used is also akin to that of the ICA report that was issued with regards to Russian interference in the US election.

>high degree of confidence

To reference what i'm talking about, the ICA report used the same language to assume Russia was interfering based only on observation. This observation was what would essentially be dubbed a propaganda war; through usage of primarily RT on Twitter, YT, and other social media. However, quite literally nowhere in the ICA report did they say "we have emails," "we have phone records," "we have _______ substantial evidence to incriminate so-and-so."

That's what i'm actually looking for, not allusions or opinions being made in confidence simply based on observation alone.

Were chemical weapons used? Yes. By whom? The report says nothing. Nowhere does it mention either as to whether or not the samples were compared to the Syrian stock. The reports don't incriminate anyone. In fact, it even says that they're searching for evidence of a breach of the agreement.

Lastly; in both of these links the total number of visits they've made to Syria has at least been more than two dozen. In these two dozen visits, why has nothing been reported and concluded to confirm Syria is the culprit?

If there is evidence to the contrary, do link it.

A human's experience... is a set of facts. that person is real and existed. It's just an extremely complex network of facts. Sometimes you just don't have the skill set to be able to organically synthesize all of these facts to help you deduce the truth. Sometimes you have to settle for shilling in a message board with the neatly divided 14 viewpoints your masters have given you. That's fine, but you won't be a part of the solution for humanity moving forward and a part of the process of improving future generations.

Now when it comes to analyzing interviews for example, their opinion of a situation is of course subjective. You aren't using their words as the foundation for analyzing the situation. You aren't using 3 CIA events as the foundation of your analysis. Selective dismissal of ingredients is tactic of the weak-willed or manipulators. Preventing people from making past the various stages needed for them to hunt for the truth themselves.
>>
>>133454578
Thanks for your replies, i've been trying to read several links and reply to the other poster as well.

The thing i'm trying to avoid are things that borderline conspiracy. There's obviously a shred of truth to many things, i'm simply trying to come to the most logical conclusion while playing devil's advocate.

Personally it doesn't make logical sense to me to kill civilians in a war you're already winning; it would even make more sense to simply state that civilian casualties are an unavoidable part of war.

However, the people i'm engaging with want reports and facts and it seems both sides are lacking in the department of actual "reports" and such that aren't supported by in-confidence conclusions based on observations. Unfortunately, in this conflict observation is the primary (and often only) tool to be used in your/our/their defense.
>>
>>133455386
>That's what i'm actually looking for, not allusions or opinions being made in confidence simply based on observation alone.
That's still not an opinion. It's an objective fact that sarin was used and its also an objective fact that Assad is the only one in the region with Sarin gas. This has also been proven. Assad has airpower and it has been proven that these were dropped from the air. He airstriked that location on that day at that time of the attack.

How can you not put the pieces together? It was good enough evidence for Trump, it should be good enough evidence for you.
>>
>>133455592
>A human's experience... is a set of facts.
No an interpretational experience is subjective to the chemicals in your brain and based preconceptions. It is most certainly not a fact. Sounds like you're trying to make an argument for mysticism and bias as a form of factual empirical evidence.

Really? who else in the Syrian civil war has sarin? Only Assad had it in syria according to the UN when United Nations Security Council Resolution 2118 was adopted.

lollllll. I'm sorry that you can't compile them yourself. What I mean, to make it more clear, is that person's eyebrows raising when saying a certain phrase. That is a piece of data and there's a shitload more where that came from when analyzing someone.
Your argument can be applied to the same thing you're defending. the person running the sarin test could have been deceived by their own senses when filling out the final report hahah

If you can refer back to this >>133452834

Since >>133455655

Is getting back around to what I originally posted about regarding the supposed air drops.

Getting back to your post; it is observation and allusions being drawn to point fingers. Both links you provided me (yes, I actually read both of them) do not state anywhere that Assad still has chemical weapons. They've made several visits to Syria, even comprising of locations where weapons were stored, and so far nowhere in their reports has it been stated that Syria has violated the agreement.

So again, where is the incriminating evidence that proves Assad did it? Also can you please link to something regarding the air drops (i'd do it myself but i'd rather allow you to provide your own sources that would be akin to someone i'd disagree with and would be supplied with their likely similar source).

Many times /sg/ has claimed that the impacts do not align with that of a real strike, the aftermath. It was also claimed by Assad himself that there was no military operations in the area by the SAA. The only saving grace/counter to this was the US radar and the supposition that the only way to deliver a chemical weapon strike is by air.
>>
>>133456181
>I'm sorry that you can't compile them yourself.
What does that even mean?
>is that person's eyebrows raising when saying a certain phrase.
Not always, this is based on your own personal experiences and not an objective fact. No body language expert will claim that interpretations of body language can be considered fact. They're interpretations and nothing more than that.

No, its not empirical evidence as there is no scientifc method being applied by your observations and subjective emotional experiences.

Just saying "dude its like so totally complex that you cant understand it" doesnt make it a fact, it makes it an unknown which is the opposite of a fact.
>>
>>133456170

So then, question. Would a comparison to the Syrian stock be conducted to confirm it's Assad's? As I stated once before, a laptop was recovered on the topic of biological weapons development by a terror group in Syria. Similarly, there are videos of chemical/biological weapons being tested on animals by terror groups.

What's to say the Sarin isn't the Syrian government's?

/sg/'s analysis of the data was that the Sarin is not the same as both samples recovered contained other trace chemicals different from each attack(s).

Honestly I don't think there's a way of comparing sarin samples unless you have the original container in hand. Once its released into an environment or a human body it becomes contaminated.
>>
>>133456707
there's no scientific method being applied because it's too complex. The idea that a doctors' note saying "muhh Sarin" has more weight than compiling 8 hours of personal testimony is a convenient lie. One can be controlled, one can't

>>
>>133457131
>>133457182
>there's no scientific method being applied because it's too complex.
Then it's not provable and is merely conjecture. It's like saying psychic mind reading is so complicated that you cant apply the scientific method but it's still a fact that it exists.

If it cannot be proven with the scientific method then it is not a fact, is conjecture or pseudo science. It's not even admissible in a court of law. So unless you plan on redefining the english language to fit your personal pseudo-science you're going to have to admit that it's not fact based because it cant be measured, quantified with any scientific method and no court can use it as evidence.

It's simply conjecture and assumptions based on personal experience and bias, nothing more.
>>
>>133457117
So essentially, there's no actual way to confirm it belongs to Syria. Unless the reports update with evidence showing Assad has chemical weapons, this will literally forever be a tug of war game between those believing Assad is gassing his own people and those believing it's a false flag.

If the OPCW has taken numerous visits to Syria (and obviously going to be more), you would be thinking more would become of this many visits.

Something i'm displeased with is the fact the investigation is not public, no real raw data is publicly available to us as of late.

Until that happens, I don't personally see how you can make any concrete conclusions when you do have efforts (and some seemingly successful to whatever degree) made by opposition forces to develop biological/chemical weapons, this dynamic doesn't swing favor to be one-sided.

Anyways, i'm heading to bed, work in the morning. I'll be posting here more frequently now.

Thanks for the chat and i'll check this thread on my phone tomorrow to check replies.

yes but you're reducing it's value. THAT's the problem. Not whether its validated by scientific commnunity or not. Just because science is too narrow minded and/or not adept enough to figure it out/ devise all of the necessary structures that would go into it, DOES NOT mean it's inferior. even from a logical perspective, not paying attention what the actors in a situation say and do OVER THE COURSE OF A DECADE and trying to dismiss it is just shocking. wouldn't let you anywhere near real life situations where the ability to analyze these things come into play. aka if we go fishin on the lake you'd accidentally kill us

Our entire way of life is based on the scientific method and empirical evidence. Try landing on the moon with pseudo science and superstitions. You're claiming that body language is a fact, it is not a fact. It is not accepted in court and you're casting aspersions based on body language of people you don't even personally know. If a court cannot accept body language EXPERTS how on earth can someone who admitted to not being an expert have the balls to claim that body language is a fact?

It's not a fact by any definition of the word and you're incredibly foolish for basing your opinions on a muscle twitch or the blinking of eyes. You should anchor yourselves to truths and not self deceptions to reassure yourself of the moral high ground.
