Sorry if I misunderstood that article, but the gist of it seems like it is just a possible alternative treatment for a couple specific types of cancer affecting the blood and thus the production of lymphocytes hence why an external introduction of increased potency wbcs had an effect - I'd imagine the effect was far more pronounced in mice due the much much higher circulatory rate and thus higher wbc dispersion increasing the efficacy of the treatment - the concs and the method of treatment required makes it seem like this 'cure' is not wholly feasible and at the best a niche treatment
