Unfortunately it's the other way around, I'm caught in an odd limbo. As I'm now 18, I've lived in America just as long as I've lived in Ireland. While my accent is now extremely faint, it's noticeable, and when someone I know describes me, one of the first things they say is "He's Irish."(right after they say "how do you say his name? Ee-oin? Own? Ewon? what the fuck?"). Contrarily, when I visit family back home, in the token American, and everything seems a bit off.

I'm not one of those "yeh my parents great great great great great grandparents are from somewhere in Ireland hurr durr", but at the same time I'm certainly not as Irish as any of you.
