Colleges, in general, are far too lenient with acceptance. It is de-legitimizing the merit of a college degree when every high school graduate is *expected* to go to college. There are plenty of low income jobs which need spots filled, but people now waste four years of their time and $80,000 studying a meme field which has no jobs, only to end up in those low-paying jobs anyways. Far fewer people should be going to college so that one day it might mean a lot to have a degree again.

The problem is even worse with regards to black people. They are, in general, such low functioning members of society that universities around America have knocked the bar lower for black applicants than white applicants. The idea is that if everybody has a chance to go to college, we might find out that black people are capable of becoming just as productive in society as white people, they just need a jump start. What they will find, however, is that black people are not studying maths or sciences and that they are failing to hold jobs in any field besides those heavily struck with "diversity training" programs such as low/entry level business work and social work.
