Southern Maine is now basically mass. But when you get outside Portland it turns back to Maine again. It takes 2 hours to get from Portland to where I'm at, and I'm still not even halfway up the state. Yeah I would recommend taking a summer trip here, just avoid tourist traps like bar harbor. Personally I'd try to rent a cabin on a lake for a week except you won't want to leave. Bonus if you like to fish. Maine winters can be harsh but I love the winter.

What ever you do, never go to Oklahoma or Nebraska, literally every time I was drove through,I had food poisoning and all the women looked like leather lunch ladies. Texas is full of dicks and terrible drivers, they literally have things called "feeder" roads which are smaller roads that are parallel to the main highway as a safety measure because Texans cannot resist the urge to drive off the road. It is also hot as fuck and humid and generally a shit hole.

Instead, you should really consider Nevada and living in Las Vegas. If you are in the military Vegas is great, there is a base there.

Vegas, despite what you see in (((Hollywood))) is a pretty normal city. No income tax here, cheap cost of living and real estate and close proximity to a world class airport (with extremely good rates because it is subsidized by the entertainment industry in vegas) . Low roody poo population and safer then most places I have lived in other parts of the country. Also, great weather 9 months out of the year and awesome scenery. Prostitution is NOT legal in Las Vegas, it is only "legal" in licensed brothels in the middle of fucking nowhere. Degeneracy is not as high as it seems in Vegas.

Michigan is an interesting one. West/Northwest (Holland to Petoskey/Harbor Springs) Michigan is very nice. Beautiful beaches/state parks, almost all white, strong family/Christian values orientation, all red counties. South of Holland and east of Grand Rapids is nothing but cucks and niggers.

The countryside is really comfy and redpilled, and Kansas City (Missouri) is probably the best big city that I have visited in the US.

Nebraska and Iowa are actually nice and comfy as well.
