Did you fall for the student loan Jew?

How much do they have you on the hook for?

No. My parents were responsible and saw the way things were heading so they saved up to send me to University.

No, my family is worth a shit and a $65,000 investment into my future was but a drop in the bucket.

Nothing.

1) My parents saved enough to send everyone of their 3 kids to post secondary without needing loans like responsible parents do.

2) My family got me on the disability welfare Jew. Which was a great financial help. Nothing like receiving thousands of dollars a year for just existing.

No. I went to a community college, then a cheap state school for my undergrad, living on fast food dollar menus and ramen. I then carried a rife for 4 years and used the GI bill to get a free ride to grad school. I have a BA, Masters, and JD, and carry no debt. Student loans are for suckers.

>>
>>133362958
If you do your research and follow markets you have no problems choosing a college degree that will enable you to have a steady stable career and pay off the loans in a timely manner. College kids expect they can take any course and find a job that'll pay for the loans.

Nigger colleges are closing in on 100k per year, some kids go bc they "love the campus" or need to "follow their passion".

They get roped into thinking they need it then get the usury cum out the jew cock they were to inebriated to feel slide in them

Well past 30k, you can stretch out your loan payments for 25 years, mine are 10-year.

So at 100k, I'd probably be paying ~$1000/mo... which at 25 years is still, what, $450-500/mo ?

Still doable.

If you're going upwards of 150k in debt, you're fucking retarded and should just go full hermit mode innawoods
>>
>>133364595
Yeah this honestly.

I know everybody here likes to pull the "lol just be smart" argument but when you're 18 and your parents failed to educate you on your options, people go the route of college. People who attended big public universities and wind up in the 70,000 range for a liberal arts degree are worthless, but some of us didn't realize what the fuck was happening until it was too late. (Mechanical engineering here) For everybody here who claims to be a National Socialist, you think people would be a little more willing to see what kind of game the banks are playing but i guess it's more fun to LARP and pretend that everybody is stupid for falling for "jewish tricks"

>blaming banks for taking advantage of retarded adults and soaring college prices

lmao what

Banks are, at best, 4th in line for the blame in student loan debt

1) 17-18 year olds for being fucking retards and taking on debt they don't intend to repay
2) Their parents for raising retards
.....
3) School prices (much less guilty than 1-2 because they don't force anyone to attend, and they are open about pricing)
4) Banks for... being banks and giving out loans to people who want them, I guess?
>>

>>
>>133362958
I've notices with most of these crybaby bitches with student loans is they fucked around while they went to college. They went to class. Then they hung out with friends and went to parties for years. If they had a brain in that dense head of theirs they would have had a job to start to pay off debt. Even at minimum wage in 5 years you could make a dent. But they sat on their asses, let the student loan mature and now they don't know what the fuck to do because they are sheep that have to be fed the answers.
>>
Is it Jewish for me to use a 401k and Roth IRA? Is it somehow part of the Jewish scheme to get me to save for retirement far better than I could for a standard savings account? As far as I can tell 90% of /pol/ thinks anything involving interest is a Jewish ploy and that I'm best off keeping my money under a mattress. Thought? I want to hear /pol/'s take on this.

As for OP I didn't fall for student loans because I went to a college that gave me a full ride instead of plopping down $50k a year to go to some meme liberal arts college
>>
>>133364426
People are doing luxury degrees. Schools unfortunately push the 'any degree is a good degree' bullshit. Parents tell kids 'follow your dreams' even when they are stupid dreams. Banks can collect the loans infinitely so they will get their money anyways. As a result no one tells these kids that their degree in gender studies is worthless and stupid. Though then again, if a kid is that stupid than they deserve the debt sentence. $300 with a decent degree isn't that hard. However luxury degrees offer no job help so these morons work at Starbucks for minimum wage so it fucks up their finances.

>keeping my money under a mattress
What is inflation?
>>
>>133365562
First off I sorta lumped in federal governments with banks so maybe I should clarify that.

Really the issue is i see it is at 2 or 3 on your list, the issue is how fucking easy it is to get a federally backed loan. They give this shit out like fucking candy through Sallie Mae, and if they aren't content then as long as your credit is even kinda not shit, you'll have another loan all lined up through somewhere else.

This in turn is cycling back to skyrocketing prices and meme degrees because of 1 and 2. The reason I claim it to be worse than anything is because for those who weren't a fucking retard, it punishes them anyways. And for the record the system is insanely broken on how they distribute aid.

All I'm really saying that while its okay to laugh at idiots, the absolutely worst thing perpetuating this is the fucking student loan business.

There's another option other than government loans or rich parents. Some people actually work during school to keep loans to a minimum.

But then again most people at schools refuse to work full time and can't pass a piss test so they're stuck in retail.
>>
>>133366297
IDK. Fiat money may or may not collapse. CryptoShekels might end up being a bust. Gold/Silver is a scam and when everyone screeches buy or sell, if I had money to play, I'd do the opposite because huge buying or selling affects prices. My bank offers investment funds that have a guaranteed yearly return but max investing is capped. Since I'm not rich, I use those to barely break even if I calculate in the rate of inflation. Better than slowly losing due to inflation. Have some clay ownership in family. Will eventually be looking at more clay to buy. If all goes to hell, I'll plant potatoes and cabbage and won't starve to death.
>>
>>133366881

Make sure you put your IQ on your resume, employers definitely want to see it if it's above 120.

Really though, look at work other people think they're "above". Around here all the shipyards, railroads, granaries, machinist shops, concrete plants, and manufacturing facilities are hiring. $15 an hour starting easily. That's more than enough to almost entirely pay your way through school. Study while you work, don't "work" while you study.

State school will graduate with 25k debt and 50k starting job... I'd say that ROI is worth the debt.

I work doing fundraising for my school and heard a call where the girl said "over half of our business school students qualify for aid" (BS statistic a loan is qualifying for aid lol) but the alumni goes "if you can't figure out how to pay for school, you probably shouldn't be in business school" the liberal girl got all mad I thought it was a good point

College is a waste of time and money. It has become a playground for the wealthy and offers no actual information or work ethic.

Kids who get hired out of college are universally disappointing employees who are overly entitled with no work ethic. Seen it a hundred times or more.

For our industry yes; managed IT. Mid-sized firm.

We get "College" applicants consistently, and they're nearly universally terrible. Good on paper; Bachelors' and Associates' of compsci, business admin, various STEM fields (X engineering) etc.

They're basically full of paper knowledge with not a whit of work ethic, common sense or capability. No experience, no social skills, incapable of being treated like an employee (told to do work), so on.

You tell them to perform a task and they feel slighted because they should be in charge, making more money, etc. This applies overwhelmingly to college graduates.

As opposed to gaming nerds with a basic CompTIA A+ cert coming in asking for an entry level job, they work hard (generally), are humble in their knowledge, and grateful for a 17.50/hr job.

Gets a bit different outside entry level, but ask away if you like.

Not larping.
>>
>>133369411

We do get those as well, just not as much. The feminist studies / retard degrees do not tend to apply for "Real" jobs; they apply for HR positions and things that I have no visibility of.

Engineering jobs and technicians/actual qualified staff generally don't see those kinds of applicants because even if they make it through to an interview, they have ZERO chance of answering any questions correctly or much less actually performing the job.

Also I want to add, that smart people will take ADVANTAGE of low interest rates when paying back student loans. Obviously there's a "peace of mind" benefit to paying them back soon and not having a looming payment to the Jews every month. But there's also a way to take advantage of low interest rates, to actually come out better by paying it slowly.

>15 year loan, very low interest rate(4-6%)
>can pay it back in 5 years by living like a peasant in Mom's basement and giving half your paycheck to the bank every month
OR
>pay the monthly minimum, move out of mom's house, and use whatever is left to invest
>the money you invest will grow faster than the additional interest, netting you a gain over what you would have saved if you gave your paycheck to the bank every month
>added benefit of not living like a fucking serf in your parents house for your entire young adulthood

Think smart, actually use your education to make wise decisions, and you can actually be a respectable man with your own home as well as a respectable debtor with good credit and a sizable amount of investments.

Don't let the Jew liberal media trick you into thinking you're fucked, and you need to live in your parents house for 10 years while you give your entire paycheck from Starbucks to the Jews

>>
>>133370279

Incorrect. Colleges here sell an "experience"; partying, relaxing, drinking for 4+ years while "earning a degree". Milennials have been done a great disservice by this because they extend their childhoods by a 4-10 year window but then end up almost 30 with no job prospects, no basic professional capacity, and no sense of self.

Bunch of yammering, egotistical party-children is essentially what they are, for the most part, who have never had to earn anything in their lives (Public or Private school since literally child, all the way paid for by someone else until they're almost 30). The minute the real world demands they sacrifice, pay, work hard, give up their own life, time, and effort to get something, they throw their hands up in the air like helpless babes and cry or attack the system as 'unfair'

There's always exceptions. A lot like border jumpers; 'some are upstanding people'.

>>133370849

4chan means nothing either way. It's just a lithuanian carpet cleansing strategy forum. I'm sure there's a great mix of folks who have lurked and posted here for many years from all strata.

That said, I'd suggest being outgoing, honest, professional and straightforward with employers. Show up in person. Follow up on resume submissions with a phone call after some day/s; be direct, but not overly aggressive. State ambition. State your goals. Do not oversell what you can deliver on. Always dress sharply to interviews; despite the position being shitty, always dress nicely. Put your best foot forward.

Early on in a job, try to impress; go out of your way to make it clear you take it seriously, value your position and want to succeed. If you seem to not give a shit, you'll be believed to not give a shit. even if you do give a shit, if you look like you don't, you'll be seen as garbage.

Optics are important.

Probably due to the fact that 50% of people in some countries are continuing education, nowadays, because people can afford to take a few years off of full time work to study.
People couldn't afford to stop working back when uni was free in developed countries, so now we have to reintroduce tuition fees due to such large levels of students.

>>133371547

That is largely the problem; the "Parent" generation here are the yuppies/hippies, who have no sense of actual family values.

Where do you think SJW bullshit came from? A bunch of degenerate drug-addled hippies who became corporatists in late-life neglected their shitty children who rebelled and became obsessed with meaningless, trite concepts like equality of outcome.

Colleges are just another fancy cake on the shelf here these days; you buy it because you're a 'good parent', ship your little angel off to the experience of their lifetimeâ„¢ and to ensure their successâ„¢, all they do is party, get high, and get handed a fancy sheet of vellum by a "Higher institution".

When an actual for-profit firm requires them to literally create wealth through industry or capability, they completely fall off the fucking bus because they have no concept what that shit even means.

"Work hard?? But i have my 4 year degree, what the fuck, why am i not being paid 50$/hr? Why do i have to lift a fucking box? this job is below me, wow, this society blows, capitalism is shit, hueh, berning sandals 2020".

And they no longer want to pay you based on your educational level. Don't go to college. It's a waste of money, especially if you are a white male. The pendulum is shifting but it will take some to right the ship. Learn a trade and charge lefties out the ass in labor.

No, I am not from a 3rd world country.

Damn. I pissed blood on 1st year in order to pass all exams. Couldn't afford to lose the privilege of not forking over shekels to study and the pittance (just enough to cover coffee and ciggies) of a stipend I was awarded cause I pwned the entrance exam + had good HS grade average.

How is that spics are better able to pay their kids way through college than white people, despite the fact that they have lower incomes on average? Just because your parents were selfish shits who didn't contribute doesn't mean everyone's are.

They paid for community college, which was almost nothing, then paid half of the local university I went to, which was 5k a semester. I paid the other half working part time while living at home. I took out a loan for a MBA program a few years later, but I had already saved quite a bit working by then and made enough with the job I got afterwards that it wasn't an issue.

If your parents don't save money for college and you rack up debt, chances are they were shitty parents or you went to some super expensive Jew college.

My company paid for my bachelor's degree and i was poor enough to qualify for grants while in trade school which paid about half of it.

All in all it cost about $11k for two degrees and six years of schooling which isn't bad for burgerland. Now i make over $110k/yr.

Feels good famalam

spics dont pay 35 percent of their income to the government, because they dont really "exist" in the governments eyes.
>>
I did take out $1000 from a bank. Pretty much everything else is from financial aid, and after my mother's death her life insurance policy was able to cover what the state would not lend. I got to a state school.

Yes I did. It was a huge mistake, I ended up teaching myself 80% of the things I actually needed to know and succeeding by doing things that did not require a college education.

You can restructure your loan payment for a longer period for now. Once you get a decent paying job, refinance again for a shorter term and pay it off when you have the stability and low likelihood of default. Talk to a financial planner but limit their scope to just that.
>>
>>133363686
Oh boy! Nothing like paying 2 grand a year from an annual salary of less than 20000$ so that I could pay for someone's disability while they're functional enough to attend school! This is why the government imports people...
>>
>>133377259
not a bad idea
comp sci is pretty much a guaranteed great job, especially if you can back it up with something like physics or math
I made 70k right out of school, and now it's more like 110k just a few years later

You shouldn't judge victims of class oppression.
And this really is class oppression. Because think about it. If your parents can't afford to send you to college, which is NOT your fault, how are you supposed to afford it yourself?
>be brilliant so that they give you money
This works, I can tell you that from experience, but it's not like it's something you can just go out and do. "Durrrr try BEING SMARTER!" Fuck you! People whose talents don't align perfectly with the academic system deserve certain basic standards for their quality of life, too, just like everyone else. Besides, not everywhere offers merit scholarships, and at places that do, the threshold tends to be unfairly high.
>work and save up
By the time you've saved up it'll be too late.
>take out the loan
Yeah, and then what? And then spend the rest of your life paying it off, that's what. You get the education, you get the high paying job, you still can't fucking afford a decent quality of life because all your money gets snatched up by the loan grubbers.
>don't take out the loan
And do what instead? Just don't go to school? Great plan, let's just work a dead end shitjob, wear down all your joints early, and still not be able to afford a decent quality of life.
You see? There's no path upward. You're stuck with the level of social and financial prestige you were born with, no matter what you do. That's class oppression, that's what that is.
>>
>>133364341
It is not insurmountable anon. You would be surprised how much debt you can pay off when you set your mind to it. Get a part time job now. Any money you dont have to borrow now is worth much more in future money terms. Also control your expenses. Cooking for yourself is a great way to be frugal. Plus the habits you form now will make it easier to have even more disposable income in the future when you get your first real job.
>>
>>133369833
>6% interest rate
I never had to take out loans. Is it really this shitty of an IR? Holy fuck.
t. Rich fag
>>
Nope. Saved money after I graduated High School and opened my own business.
Nothing, and I mean NOTHING feels better than working for yourself doing something you enjoy. I'll never understand the mentality of spending tens of thousands of dollars just you you can get a mediocre paying job working for someone who makes more money from your work than you do.
>>
>>133380644
PEople do it because they feel obligated. Everyone in society thinks they need a degree so they get one. Since they're told to spend regardless as it will pay itself back no matter the amount or degree they get (lol), they get massive debt.

Going to a in-state school is fine.
>>
>>133362958

No, I got an associates degree for a reasonable price at a community college. Then I started studying Vendor specific Cisco Networking to get my CCNA. So basically I went to vocational school.

Still need to certify though. Summer hit and I've been slacking.
