im going to live as a brain in a vat, and live far longer than any human (possibly until the sun explodes) because most of aging is metabolic damage derived from the rest of your body.

The brain takes up 20% of the energy you operate with. mostly glucose and some trace minerals and fats. Id imagine there will be a off the grid system available in my lifetime where i am not opened up to outside attacks and get to have my own little autistic universe.

That and repairing one organ (the brain) will be far easier aswell if we are talking about centuries of age.
